Happy Photo Friday! What do you have planned?

I think the meme is very indicative of what I have planned!!
Happy Friday! I hope everyone is ready to wrap up the week and get some R&R or be productive or whatever way you like to spend the weekend!
QOTD - what's the worst fashion choice you've made? I always wanted black hair so many years ago (late 20s) I dyed mine black. It was NOT a good look, I looked like a zombie. I did it at home and then had to go to a professional to have it fixed. The exciting part was I did it right before I had to renew my passport so I lived with that bad choice for 10 years. (There's also the time I accidentally went hunter safety orange but that was much easier to fix.....and also the last time I colored my own hair).
Should be a steady day at work today, then I have an eye exam that I am tempted to move to next week but also need to get done so I can spend my special purpose FSA before July 1 so the window is shortening. Saturday I have my session with my personal trainer and then a glorious two days with no plans; I've done most of my "chores" for the weekend so I see some reading and relaxing in my future. My brain needs it.
menu today
coffee plus half and half X 2
TBD on breakfast, either oatmeal or yogurt
last of the meatballs with cheese
tbd on dinner
My photos today are the back and front of a seal I almost stepped on! She wasn't there when I walked up the path and walking back I was making sure I stayed away from the seal that WAS there....and then I looked down and there she was. Her tail looked like soft puppy ears and I wanted to touch it....but I did not because you don't touch the wild animals.
Have a great Friday and Weekend everyone!

Good morning, everybody!
It's good to be back in the burbs. I didn't make it to the gym last night. Between the cold weather and the long day, I just stayed home last night. Of course the Patriots traded back last night and then drafted a lineman disappointing all of their fans. It's a rite of spring, I guess. Pittsburgh drafted a quarterback, but not the one that Chrissy thought.
I have a brunch for CASA this morning. It's to honor the advocates. I am told that they like to meet the Board members, but I'm not sure why - they are the ones that do the important work. June 30th is the end of my 7 years on the Board, so its getting to some of my last events and meetings.
Marilyn enjoyed the restaurant at Restoration Hardware. Her glass of wine was $25, so she felt a little guilty that one of her friends picked up the bill for drinks. We talked to my son last night. It sounds like all of his professor**** the kids with assignments the week before finals, so he is stressed about completing those.
Other than that, I'm way behind on my workout schedule this week, we have happy hour tonight and I have a few small household items to do. Hopefully there will be naps.
QOTD: Hawaiian shirts in college would have been one choice.
Breakfast: Eggs most likely
Lunch: Roast beef
Dinner: happy Hour
Have a great day, all!

Yeah but the Quarterback we drafted is going to play his NFL carrier in the same stadium he played his college carrier. Is that crazy? And Brett Michaels will be having a concert at out local casino tomorrow. If I didn't already have plans. I may be missing out.

We leave around July 10th. My older son and daughter are both super excited about the trip because they have been working so hard, so it should be a good one. We have never been on Norwegian, so not sure how that will be different than all of our other trips on Royal Caribbean.

Good morning ~ I've never seen a seal tail up close - so cute! That meme is my goal as well. We have very little in the way of real plans, just the usual chores, errands and the kiddo coming over on Sunday. Today is a half day then I'm meeting my sister downtown for su****he art museum (finally!), history museum and the Mission.
I started The Lincoln Highway the other day and I'm stressed out about what Duchess is up to.....
QOTD - Oh, so many! Most recently, chopping my hair off at my shoulders a week ago. I'm having a hard time styling because my hair is very curly in the back and straight in the front. It's taking every ounce of patience I have to make it behave. Never again!
Accountability - the day started off terrible with my leftover sandwich and chips from Wednesday. Then I impulsively joined Weigh****chers or WW because I need a new obsession. The rest of the day was good. Lets see how this goes.

Tuna Tataki sounds delicious. Do you ever eat nigiri or the rolls? I used to love sushi. I figured out that I really liked the whole experience of the rice, soy sauce, wasabi more than just the fish. I have had sashimi since surgery and found it boring. I still enjoyed it as a treat but definitely missed the rice.

Tataki is very delicious - but varies from place to place. The place I went yesterday w/my son is heavy on the chili oil - so I have them put it on the side. The one I'm going to today is a light soy/rice vinegar sauce - yum! I struggled with no rice at first, but after trying a roll w/rice and getting super sick (twice), it's not an issue any more. I love the experience too. Soy, wasabi, ginger and spicy mayo bump up the flavor a ton.
