What's on your Thursday Menu?

that seems to be the thing now... or A thing. Hardly anyone would have done that when my high school had proms 45 years ago, but now I see lots of parents posting prom pics on Facebook, and it seems like a lot of kids are going with groups of friends nowadays (a few have dates, of course - but still, lots of 'em just go with a group of friends...)

I graduated 3X years ago and we went as groups; sometimes there were couples in the group so I don't think it's a new thing. I am certain my rural high school was not setting any trends, lol

hmmm. Could depend on the school, I suppose. Or maybe more kids went in groups than I realized? I dated the same guy all the way through high school (and my first year of college), so I went with him. One year we went with another couple friend of ours. I just don't remember kids coming in groups, but maybe they did and i just didn't notice. Or again, maybe it depended on the culture of the school.

oh, and how exciting for Prom. Does he have a date? Em is going (we just dress shopped a few weeks ago) but she is going with a group of friends like she has before (formal and Prom last year).
