Tums is not a good way to get through the day. I was so tired one night last week that I ordered a salad delivered from Bob Evans. I used to love their wildfire chicken salad, so ordered one. Now it tasted absolutely terrible and I threw most of it away.

My Weigh****cher meetings this week are about learning to not eat food that you don't enjoy. I grew up hearing about the starving children and how I had to clean my plate because they were hungry. She got a magazine every month from a mission that she donated to and it had pictures of the starving children with their swollen bellies and sad eyes.

My husband had TV sets in every room and on the deck outside. Sports went on all weekend and we ate at half-time. I completely don't care about sports and turn the channel when it comes on.

I think most of us of a certain age got that song and dance about the starving children. Like our not finishing our dinner was going to do ANYTHING at all to help these children?

Good morning ~ Cutie pie meme! I hope you are able to get all your work done, QJB. Yesterdays multi unit staff meeting was great success. Everyone was happy for the open discussion of issues and all the support, whew! It could have easily gone sideways so I am very happy. Today is another busy day - training this morning, a potluck party, the shop for my tail light and a pedi since I was unable last week because those damn spider bites.

QOTD - I am a big Patriots fan, I will always be a Patriots fan. Some years have been way better than others. I miss Tom Brady and the gang so much (I can still see them play another year with the Bucs - yay!)! But things are looking up with Mac Jones. I do love the Red Sox, but I am now a Dodgers fan with the hubs. Sports are on ALL THE TIME in our house. Rob loves everything sports.

Accountability - awesome

b-coffee, HB eggs

l-potluck - should be easy enough I'm bringing a big salad

d- leftover kielbasa and sauerkraut

s- Beef jerky

Have a great day!

I love it when I'm prepped for a meeting to go sideways and it does not....and then I kick myself for being overly pessimistic, but my superstitious side says that by being ready, I averted the drama!

I will have to look over the patriots thing... HAHAHAHA! That is one thing I am passionate about in sports is my hate for the patriots and the cowboys of the modern era esp.

Did I tell you my new school a mile from the stadium? I work with super-fans. I wish I cared, but I just can't do it. I fake a love for TB12 as needed but it is so forced, lol.

Good Morning and Happy Friday- Eve. JB-I don't think Tums qualify as food....but I can relate. I always have the fruit chewy ones on hand. Good news, some cabinets were installed in the kitchen yesterday, and some lighting.

I have a question for those that see a therapist. Are you in person/virtual? If you have used both, do you see a benefit one way or another? I need to get back to one and schedule wise it's easier to do virtual but my inclination is to try for in person. Curious on others experiences.

QOTD: Oakland A's, John might try and make a game this weekend. I am supposed to have my hair appt so I can't go this time.
