I have heard so much about Heb that it's on my "places to visit" list, when I finally get to TX.

Good morning! It's a sunny warm day here. Yesterday it got to 90 degrees. I am used to the heat and prefer it to being cold. I was away for a couple of weeks visiting family in the keys. Very windy, so not good for boating. We caught our seafood at Fish market! I was surprised at how light the traffic was, more like when I lived there as a kid. I guess it is way too expensive for spring breakers and most hotels will not take college age guests anyway.
QOTD. I go to Publix about every two weeks. Costco quarterly and rarely to Aldi or TJ. My husband goes to Target in between if we need something. Hate grocery shopping so I have learned to space it out. There are only 2 of us and volume wise we eat only little amounts. Plus the employee cafeteria is insanely cheap at 2 to 3 bucks including drink and a bag of chips even if you are getting a huge salad with meat. That salad lasts me 3 days, lol. I often get an extra salad or some other entree and we have that for dinner. So no cooking!
Breakfast was Guava flavor drinkable yogurt brought back from the keys. Yum. Menu no clue. Today I go to the store.
G'morning all!
Welcome back QJB, we missed you! Sorry work is so stressful, grateful for the week off to recharge.
Jen, don't sell yourself short, we love your QOTDs too.
Rainy day here today, and I gotta drive over the hill (Silicon Valley); Californians don't know how to drive in the rain. We also have an out of town guest arriving later today. He is a childhood friend of DH who lives in southern CA. He is coming up here just for them to go to a concert of an Australian band. I am saying this because there will be few restaurant eatings (more than normal) in the next couple of days while he is here.
QOTD:
- Trader Joe's - for almost everything
- Target - for DH's milk, chips and pretzels
- Costco - for bulk stuff (every 6 weeks or so)
- Safeway (our local grocery store) - for last minute stuff, or junk you can't find at TJ.
My meals yesterday :
- Coffee
- Eggs & tuna pouch
- Protein puffs, chomp stick
- TJ chicken fajita
- E: 5 miles jog
Happy taco Tue!

I agree about CA'nians not knowing how to drive in the rain! It's either 2 miles an hour or 100.

Back before COVID I went to four different stores almost every week. I wanted to buy exactly the brands I liked so got a few items from each one. When I changed to home delivery, I was cut down to three, because one store does not offer it. As I am venturing out more, I get to a grocery store two or three times a month. I have found that the stores do not always put their stock out and I have been results with home delivery.

If Trader Joes would partner with Instacart my life would forever change!!!!!
