What's on your menu for Thursday?

Thanks Jim (I almost typed Gym, lol). They have a free standing squat rack that might work for what I'm looking for.

Mornin' All!
we worked out a much better schedule with my mother yesterday. She's OK without 24/7 coverage now, so starting next Tuesday someone from home health will be coming in in the mornings for a couple of hours (to get her breakfast and help with bathing and dressing), and my sister and I will each put in 2-3 hour shifts later in the day. I wish all of this was behind us because it's getting very old, but this new arrangement is infinitely better than what we have now. At least I'll have most of my life back.
I have to take one of the cats to the vet later this morning (annual exam), and then it's back over to Mom's. I have to take her to a doctor's appt this afternoon. We tested her ability to get in and out of her SUV yesterday, and she can do it! YAY!!!
QOTD: We wore those clunky sandals with the wide straps back in the mid-70s, too, Jen - if they're the ones I'm thinking of. They were beige and had platform soles. I think every girl in my middle school had a pair! I can't think of anything right off hand that I'd resurrect, but if leggings ever go out of style, I'm buying up every pair I can find...
B: Greek yogurt with rose syrup mixed in, topped with 2 T of pistachios. Coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: a cup of cantaloupe topped with vanilla/cinnamon skyr, maybe some homemade asparagus soup, too
AS: Greek yogurt and Wasa crackers
D: not sure yet - but probably yogurt with cranberry/cherry sauce and some steamed asparagus, since it's yet another dinner-on-the-fly day and DH won't be home. Or I may just have a protein bar (I've been eating most of my calories in the late afternoon lately and then eating a tiny dinner)
ex: I probably should have gone to water aerobics this morning but just wasn't up to it. I guess I'll have to do a youtube video since I didn't get much exercise yesterday
have a great day, all!
I always think your rose syrup is an interesting addition. My daughter loves lavender flavors. When we visited the lavender farm last week she bought lavender chocolate, peach lavender chutney, lavender infused honey. Oh and lavender earl gray tea. I am not so much into that flavor, it was ok. Now as an addition to soaps and lotions that I could approve (she also bought those-when I say she bought I mean I bought for her ;-))

Most of the 90s ones were black but I think I know the beige ones you are talking about...were they wooden-wooden look platforms? Like clogs?

Good morning ~ Yesterday I think I choose the wrong box by accident - I am definitely one to spend most of my time searching and not find anything. Glad to hear things went well with your dad. I still can't believe he was going to drive himself! Today will be meetings and trainings. Hopefully will go by fast. Yesterday afternoon was such a drag. I couldn't focus and the clock ticked sooo slow.
QOTD - Big hair, baggies and shoulder pads! Just kidding, lol. I wear what I like, I live in leggings, long tops, cardigans and I love pointy toed shoes - fashion trends be damned. I love the way they dressed in the 60's, bring it all back!
Accountability - yup, day 3!
b- coffee, HB eggs
l - tuna, salad mix, cherry tomatoes
d- stuffed peppers
s-beef jerky
Hiked Mont Veyrier France part 1 - beautiful! I have skipped so many workouts that I'd scheduled on iFIT that it keeps jumping me around this 6 week Alps series. I need to fix the calendar. Love the guide John Peel, but I'm afraid of heights and he constantly turning around to talk to the camera on narrow shear drop trails and it freaks me out!
Have a great day!

I remember as a child when we would visit Glacier National Park and go on the Road to the Sun with shear drops down the mountain I would sit on the opposite side of the car (from the cliff) since I didn't like the heights. I totally get the "it freaks me out" statement.

I think leggings, long tops and cardigans are great! I, personally, am struggling with going back to "hard pants" when I leave the house so my collection of work leggings (all black or grey) is growing.
