The chef is "creative" and mixes too many things of his own ideas into the dishes that it makes it no longer Italian.

This is how my brother cooks that's why I like to do the holidays. But I didn't get to do Thanksgiving due to Covid and I can't do Easter due to the arm. I dread dinner Sunday but at least I know I'll have a good brunch.

Good morning Jen and Menuers,

I know that some like the WFH scene but not for me. I am hoping on April 20th I will be released to drive and I am heading straight back to the office. And Lucky me I work for a Company that the owner is a devout Catholic so we have Friday off for the easter Holiday. So I am looking at about 8 more WFH days and I am back to the office.

I did not realize till Saturday that Easter was already here. I went to do grocery yesterday and I did get a ham. I have people coming Sunday after Church for brunch so this one-armed girl got to come up with a couple easy creative recipes. Does anyone have a great Egg recipe they use for an easter brunch they'd like to share. I found my recipe for Asparagus strata but not sure if my guest will like asparagus.

QOTD: Nope I only TikToc. Which led me to the Movie: The hunt for the Wilderpeople. On Netflix. What a fun Sunday afternoon movie since I really can't do to much.

I liked that movie, too. We watched it a few months ago for one of my film discussion groups.

I read that there is a church outside of Pittsburgh that has the world's largest collection of relics outside of the Vatican. I guess that they had a very wealthy priest during the World Wars and he brought a lot of them over from Europe during the fighting.

I think it is Saint Anthony's. I have never been there.

I do income tax and Easter is a regular working day as taxes are due the day after. They hinted about working overtime on Saturday and Sunday, but for me eight hours is more than enough. This is fairly rare that Easter is the day before tax day. I don't think I have ever worked on Easter in my life. I will cook a tiny ham and some sweet potatoes and probably be too tired to eat a small plate of that. At least after Monday, I will not have to work again until September at the earliest.

I miss WFH, but understand that you want to go back. Be patient and heal well first.
