What's on your jr Friday (Thursday) menu?

Sticking with a theme here! It is very important to know CPR...and not have t-rex arms so you can do it.
Happy Thursday everyone. I think this will be a long pre-Friday day. I have some interesting work meetings and I'm already have the heated conversations in my head, which will ideally prevent them from becoming actual heated and possibly career-limiting conversations! Does anyone else do that? I always have a running conversation in my head, on something. But work chaos aside, it's Jr. Friday and that is worth a yay!
My floor padding/mats for the area I'm turning into my gym space arrived early and I'm glad I took the time to puzzle them together yesterday; I am 6 short so had to order 1 pack that will be here Friday so I'm still on track for my weekend project. I would have been annoyed if I waited until Saturday and then got of my self-imposed, affects no one but me schedule!
I feel like I got back into the exercise groove much easier this go around and today I'm going to get in an elliptical session and one of the challenges on iFIT is a 6 series off-equipment strength training; I may give one of those a whirl; I've enjoyed their stretching sessions so think this will be good.
QOTD: Are you gullible or skeptical? I am incredibly skeptical because my dad would tell stories with complete conviction and a straight face and they would all be lies! There were the peanut trees in Georgia that he worked at as a kid (peanuts do not grow on trees); if you changed gears without using the clutch, the engine would explode (I was in my mid 20s when I found out that was not true); and so man others. Long before they warned us about phishing scams, the fake prince that just needs 20 apple gift cards to claim the inheritance he'll split with me, and telling you my first dog and color of my first car password scams, I was already on the "nope, not legit" train. (Also, please don't fall for those password collection social media questions!)
Menu today is
coffee plus half and half X2
cold brew skyr
RGF pizza
think I'll defrost a serving of my chicken green chili
Have a terrific Thursday everyone!

Good morning, everybody!
Thursday is my day in the office. Upon further reflection, it appears that our employees are not, in fact, "hungering for in person interaction". But I still go in on Thursdays as I said that I would. Yay traffic!
Pretty much every inch of me is sore this week. I took last week off from moving while we were in Hawaii, and Monday was a heavy leg day. Almost immediately, my thighs were sore - you would think that I had never squatted before every time I tried to sit up or sit down. Tuesday was the opposite - we did this workout of 20 push-ups, 1 sit-up, 19 push-ups 2, sit ups, etc. I scaled to knee push-ups knowing that it would be a tough one. And for 24 hours I felt no soreness at all.
Well, here it comes because the chest and stomach muscle soreness is starting this morning, with the lingering leg stuff. So, basically a total body fail.
QOTD: As an adult, I am pretty skeptical. You can see that I didn't buy that Martha Stewart dog story for a minute. I believed everything as a kid, including that dragon flies could sew my mouth shut (we called them thread and needles). They are still vaguely upsetting to me.
Breakfast: protein bar
Lunch: steak
Dinner: chicken
Have a great day, all!

I have never heard that about dragon flies, I love it though!

I think that it's Sheila who loves them, but they creep me out. I'm 97 percent sure they cannot sew me.

After you told the story, about a year ago (?), I've been creeped out too.

John is supposed to go back to the office 4 days a week (WFH Friday) starting the 18th but they knew it would after the kitchen is done. It seems very few want the face to face interaction so it surprised me that they aren't easing back but a full 4 days.
I hope the soreness gets a little better, I say it's stupid how quickly our bodies "forget" the many many MANY hours we exercise them.
4 days is rough! Seems like a busy week for you, hopefully it slows down.

Good Morning! Happy Friday-Eve! Jen, I hope the "crucial conversation" go well. I totally play them out in my head too! Yesterday was crazy busy and flew by. I'm behind my processes I need to do after payroll so I need to slam through them today. Kitchen remodel is underway and I have no kitchen right now-lol.
QOTD: I'm gullible with people telling stories and things (my hubby gets me all the time!) but skeptical with business stuff.
