Happy Monday everyone! Hope you had a great weekend and are ready for the week ahead! Lisa, happy first weekday of retirement, I hope it feels delightful!
I had a great great workout with my trainer and fantastic visit with my bestie on Saturday and then a very relaxing Sunday for the most part. I also figured out what I needed to set up part of my unfinished basement as a gym space and should have everything for next weekend so that will be my project!
Today I have a pilates class before work, then a light meeting day which is great and then PT and I might go out and see a movie tonight (I still haven't seen the latest Spiderman)
QOTD - What's the best book to movie or book to tv adaptation you've seen? I still think the first Harry Potter movie was the best adaptation but I do think the new Dune did a really good job. There are so many adaptations these days and most of them are not great.
Accountability - I had the great idea yesterday that a slice of cherry pie was a good breakfast idea. It was not, in fact, a good idea.
Menu today:
coffee plus half and half X 3
yogurt
RFG pizza bites
cheesesticks and popcorn
Protein hot chocolate
Have a great day everyone!!!

Good mornin everyone. I hope that you're all well.
The new pain med is making me kind of weird feeling. I seriously don't get why some people love this feeling. Not even a little bit. It helps more with the pain though so I guess it's a trade off. The pain in my back is really bad but it does help with the leg pain. I'm getting an injection Thursday in my spine. The doctor is just hoping for a little relief until surgery...whenever that'll be. I am seething over my old neurosurgeon's behavior. So so angry. Not the consuming kind of anger but still so angry when I think about it. Since I'll have to go to Lubbock or Dallas...I'm just mad.
Some **** went down this past weekend with my brother and his family. His MIL and my mom gave them ultimatums. My SIL is a hoarder. Let's just say it's bad. My niece Rachel is suffering again in school and doesn't get any respect from her parents. The girls in my nieces class are really making a lot of fun of her. She has a lot of friends that are boys but none at school who are girls. There is just a lot going on so if you could send some positive thoughts for that situation I'd appreciate it.
No big plans for the day. We have the kids after school.
QOTD: I'd say, for me, the best is the extended versions of the Lord of the Rings. The worst...funny enough, is the hobbit. Not usually a fan of adaptions but I can separate the book and film easily. Most of the time it's notoriously bad. I also like the directors cut of the outsiders.

Good morning all and Happy Monday!
Weekend was good. I got everything done that I needed to but was working till the very last minute on my cinema project. I turned in the project at 10:53p for a midnight deadline. It's such a relief to be done with the project, responsible for 20% of my grade. Saw the parental units on Saturday and my grandmother turned 94 over the weekend. I can't believe my grandmother is in her 90s - she's still feisty as ever. I wish I would be in good health for that long.
I'm looking forward to the March Madness championship tonight. It should be a nice day outside and I don't have anything pressing today.
QOTD: Nothing is really coming to mind. I recently reread Jurassic Park and the movie was pretty awesome.
B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.
L: Corned Beef.
D: Chicken Skewers.

Sounds like a good day and good job for being under the midnight deadline, lol. I'm not much for sports but one of the fan pages for a band I love did a March madness bracket of their songs which was great!

"Parental units"
I saw something like that, not exactly, on my daughter's phone for me. After the first 5 seconds of confusion I couldn't stop laughing. I think, I'm not sure though, it was birth giver.
