What are your cities in Italy?

we'll be in Naples for four days and in Atrani (on the Amalfi coast) for a week. We'll have unlimited bus passes for that week in Atrani, and the bus goes from Sorrento to Salerno, with stops in every town along the way.
I know DH wants to spend a day in Sorrento because that's where his grandparents were from - and we'll go to Pompeii for sure (but probably a half day while we're staying in Naples, since I think it's only a short bus ride away from there). Greg said he's making a list of things he wants to see and will come up with an itinerary for us, but I'll believe that when I see it. He told me that when we were in San Diego a few years ago and he wanted to go to Tijuana for the day. I didn't want to go, but told him I would if he read up on it and figured out the safe places to go and how to get there, because the place can be pretty dicey. Did he do that? No. He didn't do any research at all - so 15 minutes after getting there, we turned around and went back. I was livid. Anyway, hoping he actually DOES do some research on the Italy trip. But I figured I'd better do some as a backup just in case!!!

If you are thinking Pompeii also consider Herculaneum. My understanding from when I worked the Pompeii exhibition here was that a tremendous amount of the artifacts from Pompeii are usually loaned out but Herculaneum does not tend to have that issue

G'morning all!
Thanks for the heads up about Apr 1st. I need to be careful today because my family is capable of pulling the weirdest pranks. Last year, though, it was me who scared the bejesus out of DD. In some of my ocean pics you might have seen our local cement ship called SS Palo Alto. It has become an eyesore (in my opinion) but it can't be moved because now it's part of the natural reef. Last year we had some severe storms and there was a pic of the wharf with the ship photoshopped out. I sent that pic to DD saying thank god the cement ship is gone. She actually believed it and for a good 5 minutes she panicked (she is with the group who thinks the ship is by now the symbol of our town and beach). When she realized it was my April's fool prank she was not happy and swore revenge.
QOTD: i have not been consistent with my diet. I keep changing from intermittent fast to eggfast to who-cares-nothing-works-fast weekly in order to get the scale moving. My goal for Apr is to stick to IF and not pay attention to the scale.
This little precious one was born on Mar 18th. His name is Lyon; his nursery and birth announcement has a lion theme.
His aunt, my friend, asked me if I could make something for his nursery. So I crochet this lion rug and delivered it yesterday. The aunt was very happy, let's hope the newly parents like it too.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Cauliflower rice & eggs
- Protein puffs
- Curry chicken
- E: 5 miles jog
Happy Fri!

Sheila, you are so talented! No doubt thr parents and baby Lyon will love it!
Some days I think my scale is as disconnected from reality as thE stock market, lol, so a break from paying attention to it might be nice!
