Good Morning Jen and Menuers,

OK today I am back to a WFH schedule. First follow up went well. I got 3 small exercises I can do to start loosening up my arm and PT will start on 4/21/22. I can't wait to be able to drive so I can get back in the office and start a normal Hygiene routine with makeup and hair but for now PJ's and a day old air dry will have to do.

I have not paid any attention to diet during this recovery so I had a lot of Pizza cookie candy hotdogs, Definitely not protein forward but that all stops today. I plan on having yogurt and fruit for breakfast, Leftover meat loaf and snack select for lunch and chicken bruschetta for dinner. No snacking please. M&M,s have 2 spring flavors. Honey graham and chocolate chip cookie . those are off my menu starting today.

I was able to take a 2 mile walk yesterday so Hopefully I can squeeze a walk around the bol in today.

QOTD: I absolutely want to go back to be in Healthcare. I wouls like to be a surgeon or a high paid person in the operating room.

OK got to get to work hope all is well

Brightest blessings

Chrissy

Not being able to drive feels like prison to me. When I was recovering from surgery everything seemed so boring. I have been wondering how you were doing and think it is great that you can work from home. It is amazing how much difference rest makes to the body. Will there be physical therapy to attend? That can help so much.

Yes, I'll start PT on the 21st. Fortunately DH is on disability so I got a chauffeur for now but with gas prices it's too much for him to drive me back and forth to work plus I really can't do my makeup and hair so Ill just be patient and WFH for now.

Mernin' errybody, Happy Friday Eve!

QOTD - Definitely same as Jen, nutrition/dietitian.

Breakfast - fasting so hot black coffee and water

Lunch - didn't plan so something veggie, out with hubs. Yesterday ended up being veggie pizza and kale salad

Snack - vegan cheese with kale salad (leftover), chickpea salad with veggie crisps

Dinner - not sure, doing hot yoga tonight with a couple of friends from work. Right downstairs is Mings and they have the fried tofu bao so trying to convince my husband to stop there!

Have a great day y'all!

Christina

Let it begin with me.

Good morning! I had a successful day yesterday food wise. But had wine. And if I am honest, you can pretty much count on wine on my menu every day until next Tuesday. The house starts filling up with people today and between feeling celebratory, and using it as a de-stressor, there is going to be wine. I'm just owning it out loud. I shall strive to keep my food in control. We had the windows cleaned by a professional company yesterday. Now that's an "adult" treat. Wow they look amazing.

Today is just more work and then my Dad and brother are arriving in time for dinner tonight. I have a quick, easy, yummy meal planned. My office is cleaned out, so it's just keeping on top of things.

QoTD: Something as a therapist with an emphasis on teenagers with detached parents. I seem to gather these kids anyway, and it would be awesome to be able to model/lead more young adults with stability and kindness.

Menu:

B: 3 oz leftover prime rib and 1/3 c cottage cheese

L: salumi and cheese pack and Parm Whisps

D: 4 oz pork chop, haloumi cheese, avo, red onion

Peace Everybody!
