It is a good but tough read; there are a few things in there that completely blew my mind!

I just finished Oprah's (with Bruce Perry) book "What happened to you". It's about childhood trauma (excellent book). She refers to Caste many times, so I have an idea. Can't wait!

I am slowly making my way though Lincoln Highway. I like it a lot but I am listening to it on audible and my commute is too short, lol! Who knew I would ever feel that way!?

My stack of podcasts and audibles that I need to listen to has GREATLY increased since I rarely commute. It's hard to get through a 23 hour audio book 20 minutes at a time, lol

Haha, I hear you. I miss my audible time over the weekends! I used to hate my commute, but not anymore.

I use audible during my long walks instead of music. It really helps the time pass by. I also listen for a short while when I am going to bed. Sometimes I have to rewind since I didn't realize I was actually falling asleep during it.

When you write that book, I will buy a signed copy from you. That would be a fascinating book. And you can include some of your real-life experience and pictures.

I don't think any cat needs help with self-defense. They have those sharp teeth and claws and will use them if necessary. Sometimes my cat has had enough brushing and petting and gives me a tiny little nip to let me know it is time to leave her alone or her big weapons will have to come out.

I used to teach classes on disaster recovery. What a dull subject for people to listen to. One of my jokes was, "Years ago, two of our IT people were captured by a terrorist regime in the Middle East. They were put on trial, found guilty and condemned to die. On execution day, they were told that they could have their last wish granted.

The first one said that he had always been in charge of disaster recovery and before he died he would like to once again teach this programmer how to implement disaster recovery. The executer told him his wish would be granted. Then they asked the programmer for his last wish. The programmer said, shoot me before he gets started.
