I do think every time iOS updates, auto correct gets worse.
Hope everyone is having a good week; we're at the halfway point. I may not have a chance to come back and read and respond to everyone today but figured I'd kick us off anyway!
QOTD: anyone have a new favorite recipe? I'll have to think about that myself
menu today is
coffee plus half and half X3
cold brew skyr
cheese
meeting friends for dinner at a greek place, so probably a greek salad with chicken or falafel
Have a great hump day everyone!

Good morning, everybody!
So, where are you all?
The PDT Treatment ( I don't think that the T stands for treatment, BTW - don't want to be one of those RIP in Peace guys) is a little rougher than I remembered. The first time that I had it they said it will feel like the worst sunburn you ever had. It feels like sunburn but not the worst ever. Which may be the source of the problem.
Anyways, I got a very thorough wash with Acetone, which stung, followed by an application of medicine, which also stung and then 15 minutes under the light, which really stung. Since then I have felt like I had sunburn. I need to wear sunscreen if I go out of the house for the next twenty four hours.
Also, I am going to Hawaii on Saturday. hats, sunscreen, etc.will be the plan.
QOTD: We have been experimenting with some Indian recipes in the slow cooker. Butter Chicken was my favorite.
Breakfast: Protein Bar
Lunch: CHicken Shwarma
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!

Always, not just the next 24 hours.
If you don't like the feel of sunscreen on your face, check out supergoop's unseen sunscreen. I wi**** came higher than a 40 but it's very good. They have a new one called every single face that is a 50 but I haven't tried it yet.

I love Supergoop. Worth every penny. Doesn't run in your eyes. I've started adding their new Daily Dose oil as my base moisturizer, then Unseen sunscreen. Every day. Never leave the house or really even start my day with out it. I put one of my Derm's kids through college I think, so I am very proactive!
I wish I was better at using sunscreen when I was younger. Not necessarily for the skin cancer prevention but so my skin didn't age so much....oh vanity.

I looked it up: Photodynamic therapy uses a drug that is activated by light, called a photosensitizer or photosensitizing agent, to kill cancer cells.

I have never made butter chicken because it sounds very high in calories. Do you have a skinny version?

Good morning!
I freaked out yesterday about everything and had a rough evening. My planned sensible dinner became two glasses of wine and a taco. If I am being honest, I could have skipped the taco. So much in my life is changing, all for the better and I've got this party we are throwing that will NOT stop increasing in size and I am freaked out about the numbers. Anyone with event planning experience that might want to private message with me and run numbers and see what you think? Let me know.
Today is all work again, but I hope to control myself and not let myself run amok.
QoTD: I made a very low carb meatloaf the other day and the crowning glory was this. At the bottom of the loaf pan, you lay down brown sugar (I used the Swerve brand) and pack a light layer in. Then add ketchup on top of that. Then put your meatloaf in the pan and bake as usual. Then I flipped it out on a plate. It was very good. I found the recipe in a "cast iron" cook book, and now I am on the hunt for a cast iron loaf pan.
Menu:
B: leftover pork adobo, 1/3 c cottage cheese
L: left over pork adobo, 1/4 c refried beans, a little avo, a little sour cream and 1/2 a cheese crisp.
D: Swedish meatballs. Pasta for the hubs. Salad. It's a little calorie dense but very filling. And I love the leftovers for breakfast with cottage cheese mixed in, so it's part of my big plan for the week.

I make meatloaf in a wreath shape in a large cast iron frying pan. My mom did this when I was a kid and filled the center hole with peas when she served it. I have never made meatloaf in a loaf shape.
