Not having to panic buy clothes is a huge NSV! I'm glad you were able to find comfort in your friends and the conversations; loss is so hard.

It is so disappointing when people use inappropriate situations (a memorial) to "preach" their views. This should be a safe place for the mourners to not be subjected to hearing someone's views.

Mornin' All!
this will be the only nice day this week (70-ish and no rain), so I'll probably be out biking this afternoon rather than at the pool, as previously planned. There will be time for water aerobics on other days. I have some Zoom thing I signed up for at 10:00, and then that's pretty much it for day - although I'll find something to work on. Or read.
Eating was great yesterday, and we biked for about 90 minutes - so I'm feeling wonderful this morning. Good incentive to keep it up!!
QOTD: I can't think of anything off hand, but probably some lecture (that is, in person). I have no qualms about leaving virtual lectures or programs, though, if they don't engage me. I also leave virtual fitness classes if I'm bored or don't really like what they're doing.
B: protein muffin, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
LS: miso/chickpea sandwich, maybe cabbage with Asian-style dressing
AS: cheesecake-flavored yogurt pie with blueberry compote
D: not sure - maybe a crab cake with some kind of vegetable
have a great day, everyone!

That's one of the reasons I hate to do live virtual workouts; I feel like I have to stay.
i did leave a Pilates class mid class a few years ago, it was a new instructor our styles didn't mesh and as the class went on, I found myself getting more and more annoyed and realized if I kept going in that mindset I'd probably end up injured or something so I got up and left.

Good morning! I'm dragging on this Monday morning. Friday was very busy at work and I found out a friend passed away Thursday night so just not a good day. I have been fighting with allergies so mist of the weekend was spent laying low. I need to head in to work today to clean up any errors from Friday but depending I may need to take a half day or something because I'm feeling very foggy headed.
QOTD: I can't think of any right now. A few sporting events I know I?ve left midway through but nothing else rings a bell.
