What's on your Wednesday menu?

Good Day Everyone, the rest of the week will fly by now. We are doing catch up dental appointments for some of the younger kids tomorrow and then it is the weekend and the weather has been pretty nice.
QoTD - I do not enjoy conflict. I heard a pretty good analysis of agreeable people vs. disagreeable people by Jordan Peterson and that is when I realized that I am definitely agreeable, perhaps to a fault.
It has been a while since I have participated in the menu thread but I am hoping to take better use of the ideas again because I finally have my appetite back and have been able to eat, drink and put on the weight that I needed to do to. I have been working very hard but I cannot take all of the credit - We received some unexpected news and will be welcoming another family member early this Fall! A bit of a shock but we are taking it in stride. Also - to anyone who has a uterus, assume it is possible, even if unlikely.
I have been adding protein powder wherever I can in my meals. It is a little hard mentally to accept that the hunger is ok and necessary after the past few years but I am aware of what needs done and just focusing on those issues right now with gratefulness that I can actually eat again. It is a weird headspace!

G'morning all!
Still dealing with time change, like a little baby. Stay up too late because doesn't feel like late and then get up too late in the morning because 6-7 is still dark. Did you guys hear the senate passed a bill about no longer doing daylight saving? It now needs to pass the house.
QOTD: I'm Italian, what does that say to you? Seriously though, at wor****ep it cool. With MY family back home it's all out, nobody holds it in, my poor husband thinks we are always fighting while we are "discussing". With my family here I go with the flow. I don't argue with strangers, online or IRL, because don't have time for stupid. But I'm not afraid of confrontation, if you plan to get into a fight I'm your girl.
My meals yesterday:
- Bullet coffee
- Scrambled eggs
- Egg shake
- Egg loaf
- E: 30 minutes cardio + 50 minutes weight training
Happy hump day!

actually, I thought they wanted daylight saving time to be permanent (and get rid of standard time). I know this sounds great on paper because who doesn't love it being light until 8:00 or 9:00 in the evening (or later...depending on where you are in your time zone) - but I remember when they did this in 1974 they quickly reverted back to the way we'd been doing it before (changing the time twice a year) because people hated it. The sun didn't come up in the winter until 8:00 or 9:00, so the kids were walking to school -or waiting for the bus - in the dark. But we'll see what happens with it this time...

Well, actually, the general opinion in this millennium seems to be "we don't care what it is just stop changing it". I know that's where I stand!

oh I totally get that! It's just none of the options (going with all DST, or all ST, or doing what we're doing now) are really that great. They all have their pros and cons. So....I don't know what the answer is. I guess if I had to choose now it would be permanent DST since I like it being lighter in the evening and I don't necessarily have to get up in the mornings, but I know that was a colossal failure back when they did it in the 70s. So...I don't know.. I'm curious to see what they come up with.
