Good morning ~ I had a nice long weekend! It was very relaxing but it's back to work today. I have a little catch up to do, but a light calendar otherwise. I may have lunch with my kiddo or get my car washed. I had no plans to work out this morning since my hip has been acting up but as I sit here, I realize that I feel better and may do a light hike tomorrow. I've still been getting up early everyday so no problem there.

QOTD - I have some flower pots and beds outside and a decent amount of house plants. They are still alive, well most of them... I need to replace a lavender plant that died (the 4 others are thriving). I don't take care of them like I should. The house plants need to be repotted and I go too long between watering's (the poor things). I will add potting soil to the list and make more of an effort. I used to love doing this.

B- coffee, egg bites

l- chicken larb or salad bar

d- Rotisserie chicken, broccoli/cauliflower w/alfredo sauce

s - cottage cheese

Have a great day!

Lavender is my favorite and I absolutely cannot grow it. I've tried in indoors, outdoors, in the ground, in pots. It makes me sad. The only thing that helps me cope is that my sister who has the green thumb also cannot grow it. I think lavender must be hard.

LOL, sisters! Lavender is pretty, I love it but there is no magic to my method. The climate here is ideal, they get full sun and are drought tolerant.

Good morning! Getting my blood level checked in 20mins or so, I'm on blood thinner. Not sleeping well stinks. I think a nice walk by the pond will be nice this afternoon and relieve some tension.

QOTD: lol I tried to garden once, but failed. I cannot keep plants alive. I had flowers given to me for my birthday and they lived for 2-3 days.

B: Kashi cereal

L: burger no bun

Snack: cottage cheese

S: meatloaf

Good morning! Going to be a busy day. Looking at 90 emails to start my day. And then a facial right after work. I have no idea how I stay awake through the facial after a hard day at work other than being terrified of snoring into her face. I had another successful day with food yesterday and have packed all good things for today. I'm expecting the day to fly by. Oh, and at some point in the next couple days I have to get gas. Scary.

QoTD: gardens as in veggies. No. I have three house plants I have not managed to kill. And a few months ago I loaded an open bed out our back door that won't grow a thing with some fresh soil and wildflower seeds. Twice now, the yard guy tried to weed it out as weeds and got halfway through it before he was stopped. So more soil, more seeds. Now I have a right half that looks like the hills are alive with the sound of music, and a left side that looks like we mowed. HA! Hoping for more growth for the left side before the big party.

Menu:
B: 1/3 c chicken salad with 1/3 cup cottage cheese

L: leftover polenta lasagna

D: all freezer divings. The last of the Christmas prime rib and stuffing, and some roasted acorn squash.

S: We shall see. I have good options, but I'd like to not need them.

Peace Everybody!

Good Morning Lady Godiva and Menuers,

I am so embarrassed I do not know your earth name. But thank you for starting us out.

Today while prepping for surgery I will be getting a pedicure and having my nail polish on my fingers removed. I have been in so much pain and have not been able to sleep. Last evening it all came to a head. I think I was in bed by 7 still waking up about every 2 hours but I think I feel better today than I did yesterday. Only one more day of work. I cannot wait till this is all over.

QOTD: My husband does. We have a garden at my Moms that is 30' x 8' it's enough for some tomatoes peppers and zucchini. I like some of the butternut and spaghetti squash because they last so long after I pick them.

Accountability: I had to stop taking my Daily vitamin because it had Vitamin E in it and I am always hungry. And I make bad choices like chips and dip and candy.

Chrissy my name is Jennifer, but Jenn or as my mom still calls me Jenny is fine. Been around for years, but don't post much anymore unless I can help someone. Plus i'm usually busy with work and the farm. :)
