What's on your photo Friday menu?

So excited for you!

Good morning everyone and happy Friday!

I did not exercise yesterday, I ate barely anything but I did take naps and get caught up on all the John Oliver shows I missed when I was gone and started on the laundry (and I did shovel the snow!). I have a massage today but otherwise I think I'm going to continue to take care of myself today and hopefully avoid calling in sick on monday....probably bad form to call in after a 3 week vacation, lol.

Today I think I'm going to stick to soft proteins, yogurt, protein hot chocolate and maybe some eggs.

As promised, I have some of what they call the charismatic megafauna photos to share, some chinstrap penguin, penguin feet and a seal streaching. so many photos to go through!

Oh my gosh, so cute!!!! And I feel like shoveling snow should qualify for exercise!

I LOVE penguins. I was watching that hot wings show and they had david harbour on there he was saying penguins are disgusting. that it was basically only s%^% and blood everywhere due to the predators killing them all the time...

so much penguin guano everywhere....but they don't smell as bad as the seals though -- those all reeked but yes, there were a few islands that were heavily covered in penguin remains. My aunt caught a leopard seal chasing down 3 penguin snacks on video, and the guides said that it's very rare to actually see that in action so everyone (except me) wanted that video. I understand the circle of life but don't need to see it.

Melody, I am always impressed with your macro photos; I have been working on mine for a while but still learning. I think I did get some cool antarctic lichen ones but we'll see.
