What's on your Thursday menu?
Good morning from a no sleep club member too. Just wasn't happening last night. I need to start making lists for our big shindig coming up. That will help. Work already looks to be jumping. Days are flying by. I am hating all the "non-essentials" on the road making my home commute over an hour every day. (No offense to you non-essentials, but I loved when everybody else got to stay home and I could make the commute in 25 minutes!) Yesterday when I finally got home I walked in the house and said "I will never have to work on a March 9 again in my life if I don't want to.". And my husband poured me a small glass of wine.
Lasagna made with polenta was interesting and pretty tasty. Polenta only has about 70 calories a serving, and 18 carbs. I ate maybe a half serving with plenty of meat sauce, ricotta and mozz. Yum.
Today I must clean out another desk drawer at work and stay on top of my orders. That's the plan. Tonight, doing my monthly date with my girlfriend. So dinner is easy.
QotD: That I need people to really like me. I know I don't. I know it makes no difference in the quality of my life. But I am driven to make everyone like me even if I will never see them again.
B: 3 oz pulled pork, 1/3 c cottage cheese (No pineapple for me, Jim)
L: left over lasagna
D: share an order of chicken fajitas, all beans, no rice hold the tortillas
Peace Everybody!

I have that feeling too. I don't like it when people dislike me. I'm a HORRIBLE people pleaser to a horrid fault. I'm better but I've had my heart broken a lot to get here.

Good morning everyone! I'm home from Antarctica and once I go through all of them, pretty sure I have the rest of the years photo Friday covered! Hope you like wildlife and icebergs. It was an amazing trip and although I did get very sick (I lost 8 lbs on a cruise where they would bring you 3 desserts if they thought you would like them), I did ALL the things, including kayaking in the southern ocean, crossing the antarctic Circle, and did the polar plunge at 68 degrees south!
today is a low key day, i planned it for laundry, time zone adjustment and doing something with the 3500 photos and videos.
qotd - maybe this is the lie but I don't think I lie to myself? I think I know when I'm making a bad choice (different from making a mistake) but mostly I do it in full knowledge that it's bad.
i will probably do some Pilates or a yoga video today - I slept across two seats on the flight from Santiago and while I'm not super tall, i am a bit too tall for that!)
menu
coffee plus half and half (I missed good coffee- the coffee being awful in ***** arenas is what led to me getting sick!)
slice of Irish soda bread
omlette
oatmeal or chicken soup
here's a photo just for fun - this is called the Gullet, it's one path you can take to go south on the Antarctic penninsula. Our ship was a icebreaker but this is where we turned around and took a different route!
Have a great day!

Such as awesome trip that is rare for most humans to experience. I think I would love to do it just to say I went there.
