I have never golfed. When I was younger I went to the driving range, mini golf. I sucked at both. I also caddied for my dad for a summer job (it was a way to spend time together, get exercise, and give me a job), I found it boring. However, in my new more mature state I wonder if I would enjoy it if I took some lessons.

Sorry about the cottage cheese incident. It happened to me in Florida. I forgot my fiber and found Metamucil in the cupboard. I threw some in my coffee that had creamer in it, not knowing it was orange flavor. It was so hard to chug down.

Our top golf is nothing like that. Ours is an open building that you aim your shot at targets for points. I never saw a top golf with a screen. Is this a knock off place or a true Top Golf?

I think the one word place has the simulator machines and the two word place is like yours.

$103? I've never played TopGolf (or Top Golf)but one of our local courses has it. I want to check it out someday. I doubt that wine list there will be any better.

I think I need to take a quick vocab class in Cross Fit. What is a double under? What does the numbers signify (21.3, 21.4, 22.3 and 22.4 - are those dates??). Are you in an in-person competition or is this posting on a on-line board?

Mornin' All!

the food landmine that is this week continues. Today I'm going to a luncheon. Tomorrow there's a lunch meeting (of one of my film groups) and then some fundraising gala in the evening for our local humane society (which features ****tails & appetizers followed by a banquet). Ugh. Wish me luck...

yesterday my vet gave me a recommendation for an animal behaviorist. One of my cats has been pooping outside of the litterbox for the past three months (luckily - it's just pooping - much easier to clean up than urine). We've tried several things - including gabapentin (the vet thinks it's likely stress-related - which I agree with. In fact, it seemed to have started right around the time when one of our other cats attacked her in the basement. Although we weren't down there to see what exactly happened, we're wondering if maybe she was in the litterbox when he attacked her - so now she's associating pooping in litterboxes with being attacked (??). The timing is about right - and that would certainly cause stress in a cat). Anyway, health-related issues were ruled out, so whatever happened, it's likely behavioral. Maybe the animal behaviorist can give us some ideas on what to do. She's only seven years old, so we don't particularly want to deal with 10 more years of this (of course, we'd never give her up - and again, it's not that big of a deal to pick up a piece of poop, but still....)

anyway, not much going on in my life today besides the luncheon, followed by a guided tour of one of our art museums.

QOTD: telling myself I'm hungry. Or that I should eat something after exercising (i.e., when I'm not particularly hungry...)

B: 1/2 C protein oatmeal topped with Carbmaster cinnamon yogurt, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: I'm pretty sure I ordered the pulled pork sandwich (we had three or four choices). Can't remember what that came with that - maybe cole slaw (?) and probably some dessert. I should take a bigger-than-usual bag with me so I can take the leftovers home (which means taking it to the museum if we don't have time for me to run back to the car). Or I could be more like a normie and just leave the frickin uneaten food on the plate!

AS: probably nothing since I'm having lunch out

D: the rest of the kale salad we had last night (one of those bagged things). And some kind of protein.

ex: I'm planning to go to the 8:00 water aerobics class

have a great day, everyone!

Poor kitty. Is the litterbox covered? Adding or removing a cover might hel*****t.
