Hello old friends. I had a really crappy day yesterday which resulted in only 3 hours of sleep which is not going to get me through this day. Stick a fork in me because I AM DONE. But tonight I am going to dinner and drinks with my coworkers. We need to vent together after this week--so this should be much needed laughter :)

What's your plan for the weekend? I need to work at least one full day to get mildly caught up. I also heard from my mom that my cousin is in town so I might end up out to dinner. It would be great to see him so I hope it works out! Other than that--nothing exciting at all.

QOTD: Ok, I asked about your body flexibility yesterday--how about your flexibility as a person...like your "go with the flow" attitude? I ask this because as a human, I am very flexible. I could care less if plans change, and I am pretty relaxed about uncertainty. But at work I am in charge of the very rigid rules and I am probably thought of as the least flexible person. It's hard to be that person some times (like yesterday for example).

Yesterday I went for a run before work (for the first time in awhile!) and I barely ate all day, but I came home and had two drinks. Not a healthy way to handle stress but trust me that I COULDN'T EVEN...

I am too tired to post a menu on MFP. Here is the plan:

Good mornin everyone, JB I hope you are able to shake off at least a little of the stress this weekend!

I'm going to be honest here. I am plain miserable health wise. I feel like CRAP. Mentally I'm relatively ok...just a little bogged down from feeling so bad. My back is just a nightmare...now when I lay down both my feet, esp the left one, fall asleep and get very painful. Then they cramp up in a weird place. I usually just stand up to get the cramp loosened up but with them feeling asleep I can't do that or I'd fall right over. My left leg is really painful, numb and the left hip/buttocks is really is sore after I've sat for a while. I literally can not get any rest. I've been averaging 3-4 hours of sleep each night. Like I said I'm miserable.

on to better things...

Mona is doing so well! She's a little rough around the edges with manners but she is amazingly sweet and hasn't had any accidents inside the house. She did pee in the garage floor when we first took her in. We honestly had thought about finding her a good home since it's a lot of extra stuff for us but now I can't imagine a cir****tance where we'd do this.

Not sure what today will hold. I'm hoping for a nap but that's likely a pipe dream.

QOTD: not really...I am OCD for certain things. I can usually handle small changes just fine. It really i**** or miss for me.

Good morning, everybody!

NOW Putin Has Done It: The International Cat Federation Has Banned Russia From All Competitions

22.2 is a good draw for me. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 of 185# Deadlifts and Over the Bar Burpees. Straightforward movements, no mobility issues, no skill deficits. Ten minute time cap. Hopefully I will get up to the set of 10 (110 Reps) before the clock expires. Most likely, I will do it at the 12:15 class today. It doesn't seem like the kind of workout that gets better with a second try, so I will probably post my score today and do an alternative workout tomorrow.

Of course, this means that 22.3 will be a parade of horribles, but that is next week's problem. Lot's of jump rope practice next week.

So, Chrissy sent me this really cool restaurant to try. We invited my niece to go, and it took me a bit to make a reservation. Well, the restaurant is Ukranian. And after the invasion they were flooded with people trying to come in and help them out. They are actually on National News Casts under "What Can you do to Help the Ukranian Community Locally" type stories. So no way are we getting a reservation anytime soon.

We are going to an Italian place instead. I want to work on my linking, so I am going to circle back to try and insert a hyperlink to their website. In the past that has generally led to failure and/or Sheila fixing it for me. OK, Here goes:www.macellochicago.com

Other than 22.2, we have happy hour tonight (Marilyn is going to dinner with her friend at 4. (4?), Crossfit tommorrow, dinner with my niece and I have to make a spreadsheet for my workout schedule. A Costco run. Also, I will do at least chapter in my nutrition course. And, I may order something from Rogue. Hopefully speak to my two oldest.

You nailed the Link. Proud of you. I am bumbed you couldn't get into that place. They look like they had fancy fun ****tails. But this Italian restaurant has 1/2 of bottles of wine on Wednesday. Thats one way to get ready for Thursday

92 Reps Rx. I did the deadlifts in sets of 3-4 and the OTB Burpees all unbroken. Feeling much better than last week!
