What's on your Thursday Menu?
Hi there from Bahia Honda Beach in the Florida Keys. It is bright sun, breezy, temperature 80, humidity 60%. After 10% humidity when we were in Arizona in February my sinuses, hair and skin are rejoicing!
Congratulations to you and Grim on your 6 year meetiversary. Always a great story to hear!
QOTD: I was fairly inflexible as a kid though I was strong. I could never do a split. Now I am super inflexible so I would really love to work yoga back in. I did it regularly for a couple of years and it made a big difference. But I have only gone once since Covid as I don't do well with online classes and I have been a bit of a vagabond of late.
6 years since surgery at the end of this month. Up 20 from goal but stable at that weight for almost a year now.
B: Eggs, cottage cheese, granola
L: tuna salad and cottage cheese
G: grilled chicken on a salad
S: probably a glass of wine or 2 at the Tiki bar up the street

hi all soooo late for me! meeting today and just trying to keep juggling all the balls!
QOTD: i thought you meant mentally flexible... im pretty flexible. when i was practicing yoga i was able to do a handstand on a wall. that was pretty cool. im getting better about being mentally flexible tooo.
food today:
flatbread with yogurt
coffee
lunch???
dinner- eggrolls in air fryer. i will cook down the cabbage, add some sesame seeds, cooked ground turkey and other seasonings - so eggroll in a bowl, then tuck into an eggroll wrapper and air fry
HAPPY MEETAVERSIARY! I hope i can finally meet yall one day.
High School! So long ago that I can barely remember it (ha!). 3 pounds to get down to my highest high school weight. Can't believe it.
QJB: Happy meetaversary! I met my hub on a blind date when I was going to that aforementioned high school. Just celebrated 50 years. He always remembers our first date and it has always been with food until this year. Now that we've both had RNY, the times they are a'changin, haha. That certainly dates me.
QOTD: It depends on how I look at flexible. I'm loosey-goosey in the legs and can pull my knees to my chest or spread eagle to an obscene degree (I'm 67). My low back is fused and was fractured at T-5 so no back bends are in my future. But my waist is flexible and I can dance up a storm yet (as long as I keep my back in good alignment, lol). No twisting. I can touch my toes, grasp my hands behind my back, scratch all the places that itch (which is, of course, most important). Alas, I cannot touch my nose with my tongue.
Accountability: Yesterday I did not get my TM in. No excuse/reason except I didn't do it. For supper, I added 1/4 cup s.f. chocolate protein pudding. Still under my calorie allotment.
Exercise: 30 minutes on the TM and 15 minutes being walked by the dog.
Daily Meditation: Yes, plus will do a little writing on the day's topic.
Breakfast: 4 oz leftover cod and shrimp from last night.
Lunch: 3 oz of chicken tenders with s.f. Waldenbrook honey mustard dressing
Sn: ?? Not sure if I will need as chicken is pretty dense. If I do, then 1/4 cup of the protein pudding.
Supper: Pizza casserole (sausage, cheese and a little sauce).
Have a great day everyone!

Good afternoon all and Happy Fri-yay Eve!
QJB-What a great meet cute!
My visit with the sleep doctor yesterday went decent but I still have sleep apnea and most likely will for the rest of my life despite weight loss. Monthly pain management doctor today went alright. Funny thing of note, last month, I tested positive for meth. I was dumbfounded and it was a false positive. No clue how that happened.
QOTD: I was always more flexible than people expected but could never do splits or anything.
B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.
L: 1/2 Jimmy John's unwich no mayo.
D: Grilled Chicken thigh, asparagus.
S: Turkey sausage stick.
HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.
