G'morning all!

Aaaaw, QJB, when it's faith and destiny it happens somehow. I totally believe that meeting your soulmate is written in the stars and somehow you'll meet them. If you two hadn't had surgery and hadn't met on OH, who knows, maybe would have met at the theatre anyway watching an old movie.

The outsider by Stephen King - do NOT listen to it while on your run in an isolated area. Let me explain. Yesterday due to several factors I didn't get to do my jog till later in the afternoon. By the time I left home it was 4:30 pm. I don't like to jog in the woods because it gets dark earlier than sunset time (and I have made that mistake before), so decided to do the neighborhood. BUT, here comes the scary part, there is a part between two neighborhoods that is forest-y, kinda like the natural habitat for the deers. If my whole loop is 5 miles, that forest area is about 0.75 miles. I can count on one hand the number of times I met somebody in that foresty area in the last 10 yrs. So...isolated. Picture this, in my ears there is the story of a bad guy and some sort of mine shaft ...the bad guy might be there or might not but who knows? I'm running in this foresty area and it's no longer bright and sunny but starting to get shady. Lisa, I was thinking about you that you had said you didn't wanna read it at night. In my head I kept begging the characters to not go down there until I got out of the area. Obviously I got out in one piece and it was so great to be pounding the pavement and seeing cars.

QOTD: at first I thought you meant personality wise, to which I would have said totally flexible. But I don't think I'm bodily flexible. When I was young I could do the back bends but nowadays nope. I was never able to do the splits.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Mex cauli rice + chicken bites
  • Fage yogurt, hot cocoa, chomp stick
  • Hb eggs & tuna pouch
  • E: 5 miles jog

Happy jr Fri-yay.

Good morning ~ High school fat, lol!! Actually I am at my high school weight right now. At 300 pounds, I dreamed of this weight but I feel like I weigh 300 today. My back is killing me and I haven't worked out but I still got up, out of bed and tried. I plan on walking later - hopefully my back will loosen up in the shower. I still think of the Midnight Library all the time and I agree, no regrets!! Happy meetaversary to you and Grim! You have a great love story

Yesterday work flew by and I was able to get great work and training done- it felt so good. Today will be much of the same plus having lunch with my kiddo so I'm looking forward to that.

QOTD - I have always been able to bend over straight legged with my palms flat on the ground. No idea how especially at 300, but I could. No on splits or any gymnastics. I did a cartwheel a few years ago and though I was going to die or break my whole body. Yoga stretches are my jam, but I'm pretty careful.

Accountability - ate tortilla chips with my taco salad at dinner

b- coffee, HB eggs

l - chopped thai salad with teriyaki chicken, dressing on the side

d- chicken tenders, tomatoes and cucumbers

s- semi fro yogurt - L&F/

Have a great day!

Good morning! High school fat. Yeah, how I would have loved to be able to maintain those size 9 Dittos. Congrats QJB and Grim. Love that story. Our meet day is May 29. My husband bowled with my parents and neighbors. The neighbor said, hey! Dwayn has a daughter! So they made my Dad show my husband a photo of me and he did. And he said I'm going to marry her. And about 8 months later we got married. Weird.

QoTD: I don't usually admit to this, but I can touch the end of my nose with my tongue. Does that count? (and who just tried to touch your nose with your tongue?)

Today is a short day, heading to Montana at noon. So I need to jam through some work before I get to walk away for a bit.

Menu: Breakfast is swedish meatballs and cottage cheese.

That's all I know so far.

Peace Everybody!

Mornin' All!

ugh - I just read on another site where someone talked about "dumping" when he meant vomiting (he's just out of the hospital - with sleeve - and ate something too quickly or that didn't agree with him, because he vomited immediately after consuming it). That is such a huge pet peeve of mine. I usually enlighten people on what dumping actually is, but I let this one slide. Last time I corrected someone (on my clinic's FB page), some know-it-all (who doesn't know it all) said I should talk to "the team", because I am dead wrong - she went on to say that she is 12 years out, so she knows what she's talking about. Yea - right. I kept hoping someone on "the team" who also visits the FB page occasionally, like the PA or one of the dietitians, would respond to her and tell her she's full of crap, but no one did. Maybe I should give up the ghost on one of my obvious goals in life, which is make sure people know what "dumping" is, but hearing people use this term incorrectly irritates the hell out of me!!!

so enough ranting. It's a beautiful day today, not very warm (30s) but really sunny, so I should probably get out for a walk at some point. I have a luncheon from 12-2:00, otherwise, nuttin'. We finished up with my Chicago-bound friend's apt yesterday afternoon, so she's out of here for good. I'll miss her, but I'm glad the moving is over. So now I get to focus on my own house. I spent about 45 minutes on my living room yesterday - whi*****luded dusting - I probably have another 45 minutes in there (I'm more-or-less doing spring cleaning). Today I plan to work on my grandmother's badly tarnished silver tea service - as well as a couple of other silver pieces - in addition to getting everything else in the living room finished up so I can move on to the next room. Progress!

QOTD: compared to other 60-somethings with arthritis, probably. Compared to the general public. no.

B: protein oatmeal with Greek yogurt, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: the luncheon is at an Italian place (well, more like 1950's era Italian-American). I'm thinking about the meatball appetizer (comes with marinara sauce). They're billed as "jumbo" meatballs, which probably means 200+ calories each - so I'll eat one or two (you get three - so I'll bring the remainder home). Marina sauce is usually pretty low calorie-wise, so I should be able to work this in...

AS: probably nothing, given the heavier-than-normal lunch

D: probably another half a vegan burger of some type, plus cole slaw made with Asian-style dressing (I really should cook something soon - although it's good to work through all the crap in my freezer, too - I have all types of vegan "burgers" in there...)

have a great day, everyone!

P.S. I'm currently at the same weight as my "high school fat". At the time I felt morbidly obese. Now I feel pretty normal!

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

Congratulations on 6 years. With all that is on your plate no one can blame you for forgetting the date. It was nice that Grim remembered. If I do not remember dates no one does.

So the pain continues to get worse daily and I am ready for the surgery. The sooner it is done the sooner I can get back to exercising and hopefully sleeping. I have been exhausted because me sleep is so interrupted.

QOTD: Not my arm obviously. I do not understand why it didn't want to do the 360° without ripping apart. However, I am usually pretty flexible.

Accountability: I plowed through some black bean tortilla chips and Mexican corn dip. Really wished I didn't but it happened.

TSS: 4 years 2 month 20 days: 145 LBS, (Lowest 129.4)

B: Coffee with SF ID Caramel Macchiato creamer

MS: Light and Fir Crème Brulee Greek yogurt and fruit cup

CB: Coffee with SF ID Caramel Macchiato creamer

L: Egg wich and snack selects

D: sirloin tip steak I have no idea what I will do with it but I took it out the freezer.

Exercise: No in too much pain today I see the Doctor on the 28th to determine what I need to do to heal it.

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. sublingual B12 1x a week

QOTD- Not so flexible today, I was a lot better when I was working with a trainer.

I've been getting ready to move again. I didn't think that I would do any packing but changed my mind. I also decided I will leave my furniture in the condo until I'm ready to move. I have a referral for a carpet cleaner and someone to clean my condo, so once I do that and get rid of all the clutter I'm ready for the photo shoot and to put this place on the market. It makes me feel better to pack, at least I can see some progress. But I'm running out of room to put the packed boxes, so far they are in the office closet and the master closet. I want to keep them out of sight for the photo shoot.

I also found touch up paint, so I used it to cover up where I removed a towel bar and replaced it with a larger one. I'm thinking that I will remove the mount for my tv and patch the holes before I put it on the market. One less thing to do when moving. I want to get this done.

The reason that I'm moving in with my roommate is that it is free rent. It's just until I find a house to buy. I've spent a fortune living here and I can't afford to rent another place. Just hoping to make a little money off of this condo so I can afford another house. It cost me $8K for temporary housing when I first moved here and over $15K to move here and and I'm sure it will probably cost more to move back. I also need to ship my car back which will be about $1750 again. This has been a very expensive experiment.

Have a great day everyone!
