Hey Everyone! Whoops, guess what I forgot yesterday? 6 years ago I was chatting right here on the OH menu board with a nice guy. We realized we lived nearby each other and both liked old movies. We decided to meet up and go see To Kill a Mockingbird in a local theater. Anyway, that happened exactly 6 years ago, and the rest is history - we fell in love and we're still together. Thanks, Menu Board :) Anyway, in typical fashion, Grim is the more romantic of both if us. I legit forgot yesterday was our meetaversary, but he remembered and surprised me last night. What a sweetie. Being fat for so many years really sucked, but if we hadn't both needed surgery, we would have never met. Isn't that crazy? For those of you *****ad The Midnight Library--this is the stuff that gets me. No regrets, lol.

QOTD: Are you flexible? I used to be able to bend in half and could so easily do splits when I was young, but I feel so stiff and oldddddd lately. I decided that within the year I am going to be able to do a backbend again! #goals

Bah, my one day egg fast was a bust. They ordered lunch for our marathon meetings yesterday and I had no will power to turn it down. I also worked 14 hours and was too beat to cook a quiche last night, so I ended up 2/5 on my meal planning yesterday. Gah.

Good mornin JB and happy meetaversary to you and Grim!

Not to much planned for the day I think. I feel really bad right now. Pain and sinus crud. My legs are just feeling awful and something is making me super super itchy. I've been up since 12:15, I tried going back to sleep only to be so itchy I couldn't stand it. Hoping to get some kind of rest today...we'll see.

On to better things! Mona has stopped bleeding! Wooot! She can now be in the house without a diaper. Which pleases everyone in this house! LOL. She is such a sweetie. She likes it when we sing her Mona Lisa. Can you tell I'm smitten? Also in great news...Opal is staying upstairs again, she is still weary but so so sooooo much better than it was. I posted some links to FB videos in yesterdays post of Mona, so darned cute. We'll call today about getting vaccinations done.

My appointment with my psychiatrist went well Tuesday, they upped a med so hopefully that'll nip some stuff in the butt. We didn't want to change it up way to much...it's all working some and keeping my head above water...I just needed a boost. So my abilify was upped from 15mg to 20mg. Started it last night.

I made some delicious Turkey pattys/burgers yesterday...they had dill, feta and spinach...oh and onion of course. So so good. I also managed to cut my thumb pretty good and on the tip so it'll be extra annoying.

QOTD: big no! With my back if a try to stretch my legs they go into severe cramps.

B: JUST egg cup, coffee x2

L: yogurt smoothie

D: turkey patty and a L&F yogurt

S: veggie crisps and ???

With that new dog, getting nipped in the butt may be painful. I would suggest nipping it in the bud instead.

Rant time...this is ONE prescription...ONE! They have the audacity to wonder why people often don't seek mental health help. I am lucky...very lucky but there are a lot of folks that do not have the blessings I have!

My son is on Abilify and Leucovorin - combined cost $4000 per month.

I am very very lucky that I have Medicaid here. It's hard enough to get on disability and even though I've had plenty of issues with lack of coverage on certain things(they'll pay for the tests on blood but not the actual blood draw) I am extremely lucky considering our idiots running the state.

all together my meds costs are very high for the mental health stuff. It's just so enraging...the costs of pharmaceuticals.

So my abilify was upped from 15mg to 20mg. Probably the reason for the itching. I been itching a lot since I take the pain med to sleep. So I wake up itchy. So it doesn't help the sleep but does cut the pain a bit. Hope it stops itching and helps you.

Yes! The pain med I take I'm pretty sure also contributes to the itchiness. Hopefully the med adjustment will be worth it!

thanks!

Teenie, it could be your pain med, especially if you take it before bed and then you itch at night. I'm allergic to several pain meds and that was the first sign I had of allergy/intolerance. Just an FYI.
