I had a doctor appointment this afternoon and was 11 pounds over goal. They are happy, I am not. I have some really cute summer things that I can wear this summer if I get on the ball and get this extra weight off. Doctor scale was two pounds higher than mine. Afternoon and wearing clothes, I guess.

Good morning all and Happy Hump Day!

I also got a good night of sleep for once. I was exhausted with anxiety yesterday. I was having a plumbing problem and thought I might need to get my landlord involved. I also had an Econ test that I was struggling with the material. After worrying about both, I fixed the plumbing problem and aced my test. All that anxiety for nothing.

Today, I have an appt at the sleep doctor where I'll bring up the possibility of not needing the CPAP anymore. I also had another NSV of being able to fit into XL sleep shorts. Winning!

QOTD: I feel teachers should be able to be comfortable. Even in lots of workplaces, dress code has been relaxed as the years tick by. When I started at a mortgage corporation in 2001, we were all in suits everyday. When I left years later, a polo and slacks were acceptable with casual Fridays.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.

L: Leftover Omelette.

D: 10 clove garlic shrimp and asparagus.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

I always tell my son, who is in college, it's OK to be nervous for tests; it shows you have studied. When you don't care and are not nervous that's a bad sign. At least that's how I was. There were so many exams that I would be in the bathroom in the morning throwing up from nervousness. But then there are people who are cool like a cucumber. Me and my son are not.

Great job on acing your test.

My idea about being professional is because I am so old. My company just informed us that they are sending a gift for employee appreciation week. It is a pair of pajama bottoms with the company logo. Since we work remote, that is acceptable for working in.

I remember that there was a similar question on one of my first job interviews. It was a written part of the interview. What I wrote ended up being the policy at that company for many years. It was something like this:

Appearances can be deceiving. The person in the well-worn jeans, comfortable flannel shirt and untied high-top tennis shoes may be the most intelligent and productive person in the company. But more often, appearances can be revealing.
