What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Good morning! Going to be a short week for me. Yesterday was successful calorie wise, but I added a glass of wine with neighbors in the front yard that I didn't need. Came in under 1000 calories for the day but still. Was just beautiful out and I don't know why I can't convince myself to take a walk or something right now. Oh, I know...it's this damn book. That excuse will be gone in about another 100 pages and then I'll have to find a new one. Excuse that is. Or finally get my ass in gear.
Hoping for a super busy day at work today. And then packing tonight for our trip to Montana on Thursday.
QoTD: Normally I would say I don't know, but I did go to see Cyrano this weekend. Does that count? Roxanne's voice is hauntingly beautiful, but I can't say I loved the film or format. But I did enjoy it and the two hours flew by.
Menu:
B: Chobiani's peanut butter dream flip
S: 1/2 chomps turkey
L: insides of a taco and 1/4 refried beans
D: swedish meatballs and pasta. I will only have a tablespoon or so of the pasta. And hopefully some salad. I need to use these pack up!
S: trying for none. Was successful last night. (I'm talking after dinner. That glass of wine was pre-dinner)
Peace Everybody!

Happy Fat Tuesday everyone. My boss had me pick up Paczki's to celebrate. Yes I am sitting here picking away at a half of one (lemon filled). Will I pay for it later, yup but they are so darn good and its' a once a year thing.

B: The paczki and coffee
L: chicken loaf and cauliflower potatoes
D: Salad with turkey slices
S: I have some carrots and celery sticks if needed
Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
Good for you QJB for taking time for yourself. Hope this becomes your new habit.
Fat Tuesday is appropriate for how I am feeling. Pants are tight and I see no exercise in my immediate future. I will be having surgery to put my muscles and tendons back on my rotator cuff on March 17 with 5 weeks healing time. I am very sad I did this to myself. Ugh I do not know how I will get back into shape for running season. Let's keep our fingers crossed I do not get too out of shape.
QOTD: Nothing I am so bad with change. Even when I see a Broadway show. The exact same with different actors I still like the first one I saw the best.
Accountability: Believe it or not I did better yesterday than I did over the weekend. I had DH 's Birthday celebration and I ate mostly corn bread muffins.

Sending you gentle hugs. I'm so sorry you have to have surgery. I know you really didn't want it(who would?). Hopefully it'll go amazingly well and you feel better and stronger afterwards!

G'morning all!
Aaah, I would be so happy if I could eat all the GS cookies that are in the house. I bought so many, as usual, and mailed half to DD in DC. The other half we'll take them to San Diego this weekend when visiting DS. I'm leaving behind a couple of peanut butter ones for DH because those don't tempt me.
QOTD: I actually didn't mind the remake of Westside Story, after all the criticism I heard of the original. Don't get me wrong I loved the original but I understand why people would be resentful. I didn't like the decision of bringing back Sex and the city, why not leave it alone? It was fun 20 years ago, now it's just meh! I didn't watch it because I didn't want them to ruin it for me. I also usually don't like the book to movie transitions because you lose so much.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Scrambled eggs w/cheese
- Hot cocoa, protein puff, chomp stick
- Shredded chicken and broccoli
- E: 5 miles jog
Happy taco Tue.

Ok, I didn'****ch the original Sex and the City, except a few random epsiodes. Just too much up in my face with the sex thing (cause I am a prude at heart). But I started watching And Just like that this weekend, and it really caught my attention. I'm positive that it has to do with all the grief and the way that plays out. But I am definitely liking these women more than I liked the younger women.
And I too hate book to movie translations. They never get the people to look like they already exist in my head!
