Exactly, and sometimes I wonder if there is an institute somewhere in the world.

G'morning all!

QJB - enjoy your snow day. Your cats behave like a typical kid. You'd buy them the most sought after toys but they'd play with the wrapping paper.

Do you guys remember a couple of weeks ago I was complaining about DH getting on my nerves because he is so loud during his calls when he works from home? I also mentioned that the weeks he goes to the office fly by while the weeks he works from home time crawls. I found out yesterday that "I" get on his nerves, which I guess is a normal thing in a two way relationship. But how I get on his nerves cracked me up. Yesterday from the kitchen he texts me this picture and says "explain yourself!"

He had gathered all of my cups/mugs/bottles from around the house and lined them up. My answer was very mater of fact:

Blue mug - morning coffee 20 oz

Long water bottle - water (with crystal light) during workout or after my run 32 oz

BIG tumblr - afternoon mix of cold brew, ice and water, depending on the day sometimes with added PP 40 oz

Flowery cup - afternoon tea, 1-2-3 times in between sips from big tumblr 12 oz

Yellow cup - my evening hot cocoa 10 oz

And by the end of the evening all of these go into the dishwasher, get washed and come back out in the morning to serve their purpose. Is it weird that I have different mugs for different drinks? DH doesn't drink coffee or tea, a glass of milk in the morning (like a little kid) and water for the rest of the day. I could take a pic of the sink full of his cups of water, but I guess him taking a new cup for every time he wants to drink water doesn't get on my nerves. So there you have it...marriage and compromise. Never thought my drinking would get on anybody's nerves, but now that I know I wonder what else I can do to bug him. Maybe I should add more cups to the rotation?

QOTD: my kids' attitude...all the time.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Scrambled eggs with shredded cheese
  • Protein puff
  • Shrimp stir fry
  • E: 5 miles jog

Happy Fri-yay!

You get on HIS nerves !!!!

My dad had a coffee cup in every room including the bathroom and always a forgotten one in the microwave - it drove my mom nuts.

Right? It's not that he goes around cleaning or doing the dishes. My mugs have a purpose and time of day. I would never use my hot cocoa mug for tea or vice versa. He thinks I'm weird that way.

Everyone is so chatty today! Nice reading all the "what happened", "what's happening" and "what will happen"s. I don't really know anyone yet but I'll share a bit about me.

Yesterday was busy. My hair loss continues, even at one year, so I went to a wig center and bought a wig. I didn't know that they actually cut the wig while you are wearing it. It turned out cute. Then off to my counselor as I continue to work on my disordered eating issues. Actually beginning to taper the frequency of my sessions to test the waters a bit. Saw the movie Sing 2 last night. So funny!

Meeting friends for lunch today! Retirement has its benefits, lol. I think I'll wear my wig!

B:

Leftover cod and shrimp 4 oz

L:

Haven't been to this restaurant before but Friday in Wisconsin means fish fry and there is usually a baked/broiled option. So that and a side salad.

S:

Leftover cod (4 oz) phase 2

Brussel sprouts

SN:

Fair life protein shake.

QOTD: Bidenheimers! Fortunately, the numbers are dwindling fast.

Have a good weekend everyone!

My thinning hair continued for several years. I could style it so it did not show, but when the products were all washed out, it was pitifully thin, especially on top. I took biotin which did nothing for hair on my scalp, but really grew a lot on my face. Ended up with facial waxing.

What worked for my hair is Nioxin with minoxidil. I bought their kit and kept using it for about six months. My hair finally grew back to be thick again and stayed thick even after I stopped using the Nioxin.
