What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

Morning Gang! Happy Fridayyyyyyy! What is it about 4 day weeks that are so hard? This one has been a marathon. Today we have a work from home day because of the billionth snow day of the season. Has the rest of the country had as much winter weather as we have this year? It's been a long time since we had this many snow days. School is already going until July 27th this year!

My pics this week are Fezzik and Inigo modeling their new boxes of the week. I bought them an expensive cute cozy igloo that they never ever use... but they love a good box :)

QOTD: What makes you roll your eyes every time you hear it? I am not a true New England girl apparently, because every time I hear about Tom Brady my eyes roll back so hard in my head that I am worried they will freeze that way. God, I hate that man.

I spent all day with lawyers yesterday so I am claiming attorney client privilege to hide behind my food choices for the day.

I am in meetings from 10am - 4pm with no break today (on Zoom) so I am sure I won't be eating anything after breakfast, and I am sure I will be tired and let Grim make me a burger, so for once I will just plan for reality.

Good mornin JB and all!

Yesterday went ok. My NP suggested something that I don't know how I feel about it yet. I have an appointment next month to talk with him and the surgeon about yet another revision. We are all worried about the effects of the weight on my back. It's a vicious cycle of stuff not being able to exercise much. I've researched some and read a lot. It's all a big what if right now. It's just such an overwhelming feeling of failure. I've had just so much going on in my life the past 3 years yes but it's all my fault where I'm at now.

Now on to better topics, LOL. Opal came upstairs on her own while Mama was out and about. Still scared a great deal but this is a huge step.

I have another phone appointment today but I don't know exactly when. Lovely...some time between 8:30 and 4:30. Great...

QOTD: I literally laughed out loud with your response! He's not my favorite...at all! For me it's trumplicans...yuck. I'll leave it at that...LOL

B: JUST egg cup, yogurt and coffee x2

L: PP shake

D: not 100% sure yet.

S: raw veggies w/yogurt dip, ???

Ok...I was proactive and called in for an earlier appointment. Pleased to say after an hour on the phone I was approved for food benefits! I am shocked to say the least. This will help so so much!

hi all

man am I tired. Dang dogs had to pee at 3 am then i couldn't get back to sleep. laid there until 4 then they got up so i said %$%$ it and got up. read my book and had coffee and starting work.

have dentist this afternoon and have worked a million hours this week so i will be having some personal me time before and after. it will mostly be browsing for books at the thrift store (hopefully not buying more clothes, need to sell sell this amazing stuff) and grocery shopping.

QOTD; anything with techno-functional in a job description, anyone referring to an application as a workspace, people that let their kids wander around stores without masks on, people that have no concept of where they are standing, wow this list could be very very long but I do have a meeting at 8.

food for today:

b; unsure I had an RH episode last night before bed. apparently a snack of fiber one cereal even with fairlife milk as the protein does not do well 2 hours later. ended up with peanut butter bread as a chaser :( lesson learned

so coffee for now and water

l: last of my chicken and edamame

d: i think either shrimp and grits OR pick something up because by the time I get back i may not have time to cook dinner.

s: TBD -- not fiber one cereal and milk :(
