What's on your Monday menu ?

I have no doubt it could've been put to better use. Funerals are for the living. They bring me no comfort at all. When my father died we didn't find out for 4 months because they couldn't find us...which is weird. We had him cremated and spread his ashes in Colorado because he loved it there more than us. His family kind of got mad at us as they wanted to bury him with his parents...which my grandad would've flipped out about. We did what he told my mom many times he wanted.

if my family wants to do something go out to dinner and reminisce but don't spend more than you have to. I've been to way to many funerals where people cried over people that they treated like trash. LOL I don't even care what happens to my ashes. At all.

Mornin' All!

I hope the funeral goes well today - and I totally "get" your aunt wanting to be alone. I'm glad there was a memorial service for my dad (he was cremated) because it was about a month after he died, so we were already through the initial grieving - so I didn't dread the service as much as I might have if it'd been a few days after his death. I think that might have been tough. I would have preferred being alone, too. Anyway, hopefully everyone will get through it OK. I'll be thinking of you.

We're supposed to get hit with some awful winter storm starting tonight - it's supposed to continue until early Wednesday morning, the last I heard. Snow plus freezing rain - which means icy roads. I have two things to go to Wed morning (at 8:30 and at 10:00), so I hope they'll have the roads cleared by then. If not, I'll be rescheduling...not worth my life or limb.

QOTD: both - although I've seen a lot more sunsets than I have sunrises.

B: protein oatmeal topped with L&F creme brulee yogurt. Coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: lemon/blueberry yogurt pie

AS: skyr with cherry/cranberry compote

D: turkey chili

have a great day, everyone!

Good morning, everybody!

My youngest has today off from school today, so we are going to dinner. Said child actually suggested that we go to dinner, because we haven't been in awhile. Most likely we are either going for Italian or Tacos.

I usually work with my lifting coach on Monday from 5:30-7:00, so I am going to do that this morning instead.

The Crossfit Open starts on Thursday. It will run for three weeks. Every Friday night during the Open, our gym has an internal competition for the gym to watch. This week will be masters athletes and also Teens (not against each other). I am the Red Team for masters athletes, so I will have to do the workout in front of the entire gym. I'm hoping that this week's movement is something that I don't stink at.

QOTD: I'm with Trish here, sunrises are a little out of my area of expertise.

Breakfast: Protein Bar

Lunch: Chicken Shwarma

Dinner: Italian or Tacos

Have a great day, all!

Have you ever eaten at Tryzub? I see it on TicTok and looks like a cool place to drink. I'd order the wheel of fun.

Good Morning Melody and Menuers,

Yeah for the new doggie Mel. Fun to see you post something positive. It has been awhile.

Looks like today will be quit grueling. I have a boat load of orders to process already. We had a power outage due to a wreck on Friday so about 3 hours without power and Fed-ex never came to pick up the trailer. So today I will have to talk to a bunch of angry people who need their medical supplies. Not really how you want to start a Monday.

Kept the anniversary celebration on the down low. We went to our regular eatery and I had wings and chili and DH found me a Chala Cross body. I was having a hard time picking which one I really wanted so it was perfect he picked one for me. No regrets waiting for it. I don't know why but since the pandemic I only use a cross body. However, I looked this morning and I have over 10 now.

QOTD: Sunrise especially if I am running outside and it happens during my run.

Accountability: I made Peperoni rolls yesterday and I ate a few. Wow I forgot how good dough is. I need to forget again so it don't get out of control.

TSS: 4 years 2 month 9 days: 144.6 LBS, (Lowest 129.4)

B: Coffee with SF CM cinnamon roll creamer

MS: Choboni 0 sugar blueberry a banana and berries

CB: Coffee with SF CM cinnamon roll creamer

L.2 Crock pot pizza and snack select

D: Something with ground beef.

Exercise: No in too much pain today I see the Doctor on the 28th to determine what I need to do to heal it.

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. sublingual B12 1x a week

Everybody Have a great week.

Brightest Blessings.

Chrissy
