What's on your Thursday Menu?
QOTD- The climate is one of the main reasons that I moved here. But my ideal would be winters here and summers in Oregon, we usually do have wonderful summers.
Just to prove I'm not a total recluse, I went to my favorite park with my binoculars and tripod, after watching the whales I spotted a couple and the man had a Portland t-shirt on so I asked if they were from Portland. They were really nice and we probably talked for 10 minutes, so I can do it. It was really nice to have a conversation with someone in person and not work related.
I have a ton of work and I've procrastinated long enough!
Have a great day everyone!

I have a ton of cleaning to do, but at least I'm not having to drive anywhere. So I went out of town yesterday left at 6am and didn't get home until 2pm. Then I had errands to run, but today is my relaxing day off from going out.
QOTD: I live in Iowa and I love the changes in seasons, but I miss having a white Christmas. Snow doesn't seem to really fall or stick around until January/February. I remember getting snow in November.

Not much to report here. I had my annual eye exam yesterday. I really dislike having my eyes dilated. It gave me a headache most of the day. I took the day off from work since it is impossible to read until the eye drops wear off. I did get a chance to clean the inside of my new car. The dealership did a slipshod job because they had 30 cars to prepare for delivery when mine came in. I could see streaks on the windows. My weathertech mats came in so my carpet is now protected.
QOTD: The weather here is ok. Not exactly warm year round and seems to change from year to year. We do get some extremes in the winter and summer, I do miss the sun in the winter. So I don't exactly love the weather but don't really hate it either.
