Mornin' All!

I'm meeting a friend for coffee at 9:00, so I'm drinking black tea right now so I won't have half & half twice (calories....). It's working better than I thought it would. I was DYING for coffee before I started drinking this, but the heat & the caffeine in this tea (although not nearly as much as in coffee) are at least hitting some spots..

I'll probably go over to the public library branch that's across the street after the coffee meet-up, since I have some stuff to do on one of my organization's Web sites, some of which I don't have the software to do (i.e., edit PDFs). And sometime today I'll go to the gym and ride a stationary bike or the seated elliptical. I didn't do jack yesterday, and I'll miss water aerobics this morning (since I'll be with my friend), so not any other options here...

QOTD: I much prefer mittens to gloves, but I almost never wear them. I just keep my hands in my pockets when it's really cold. EXCEPT - I did buy some biking gloves last year to wear when it gets down into the 40s (F). You can't really stick your hands in your pockets when you're biking (!). I've worn them a handful of times. They do make biking more bearable when I'm out riding in that temp.

B: either a Jimmy Dean's D'Light breakfast sandwich (the "light" one - 260 calories) or 1/2 C protein oatmeal with L&F creme brulee yogurt (haven't decided yet)

MS: half & half (coffee place)

L: whatever I don't have for breakfast, I'll have for lunch

AS: protein muffin and maybe another yogurt

D: pho and the last chickpea sandwich (it's finally almost gone!!!)

have a great day, everyone!

Good Morning! Another crazy day ahead. For those keeping track, I was able to get my undies on this morning without an audible peep. Progress! I did real well on food yesterday, but chewed until things were basically disintegrated after my adventure on Monday. Still scared. We have a new hire in the office which we are hopeful will work out well, but the volume with the training and then a banking crisis yesterday almost put me over the edge. Hoping today is as busy with just a bit less chaos.

QoTD: I live in San Diego. Why would I have gloves? Yet, I own a beautiful pair of bright red leather gloves that get broken out more often than you would imagine.

Menu:

B: 1/3 c chicken salad and 1/3 c cottage cheese

L: left over taco innards and 1/2 c refried beans

D: roasted parm chicken, broccoli and red bell peppers. Making fingerling potatoes for the guys. May get brave and eat one. Also may not. I'm actually terrified of potatoes right now.

Peace Everyone!

78% might have been optimistic the other day. I sounds like you are in the 80's now.

It was February and my boss had me doing an assignment in San Diego. One day he called and was upset that I had not answered the phone when he had called at 7:00 that morning. I reminded him that was 4:00 for me. He said, "Oh, maybe you would rather be working in your own time zone?"

I told him I would rather stay up all night and wait for him to call than to go back to Ohio in February.
