What's on your Wednesday Menu?

Good Morning, all! Hmm, I woke up super tired and just not feeling it it this morning. I have a busy Wednesday, as usual, and really need to rally. Hopefully a nice hot shower and a hot breakfast will help get me going because so far coffee alone is not doing the trick! In positive news I am interviewing a candidate today for my team who seems like she might be a great fit. Fingers crossed, because I need a lot of help!
QOTD: Do you wear gloves in the winter? I bundle up from head to toe with earmuffs, scarf, boots, and a big coat, but I despise wearing gloves and almost never do it. I think it makes my hands colder because I am blocked from the body heat I usually use to warm them, so I just avoid them completely. Its been cooooold the last few days though and my hands are cracking from the weather. I should probably protect them better!
Yesterday's food was on point. Today I've actually remembered to plan for my no-lunch-Wednesdays, so I have 2 grab and go snacks and won't plan for anything else because I have back to back meetings from 10:30am - 4:15pm with no break.
Hoping to get home at a decent hour and at least take a nice leisurely walk on the treadmill because my back and hips have felt a little off this week and I know that lack of exercise is not helping. I have only been doing super quick runs (like 5 minute) just to do something... and not loosening myself up at all. Any suggestions for a nice long virtual iFIT walk, friends?

Good mornin everyone!
I?m feeling like warmed over caca. I wish I was still asleep but my pain levels prevent that. It's been really bad this week. My anxiety is also sky high. I know it's due to lack of sleep and stress. I have a couple of psoriasis outbreaks on my neck. Started treating it with some meds a few days ago. I am stressed out, exhausted and depressed.
We?re going to go over to my aunt and uncles house to give them a breather today.
I am going to get the stuff to make some chicken bone broth. I found a jared one I love but it's pricey. I like having it around when I want something savory. Just going to use a rotisserie chicken.

what's the point of the police? My mom was told by two patrol officers that if she called while the neighbor was making drugs they would 99% of the time not do anything about it. What the actual heck? He made again last night. His case from when he was arrested was downgraded from more than one and less than 4 to less than one gram.
I wrote a letter to the narcotics and crime stoppers telling them we were unhappy. Asked why his rights are more important than our right to live healthfully. Maybe it's because I've had less than 9 hours sleep In The last 48 hours but I'm extremely salty and extremely pissed.

Well its a dam good thing I don't live next to that person. I'd burn the house to the ground and make dam sure it looked like it was from them cooking drugs.
The police no longer serve and protect. They just want to go to work and back home with no issues.

QOTD - yes...in fact, I've been known to wear the stretchy fabric ones on cold non-winter mornings, lol. For years, I wouldn't wear a hat though but now I am all about the warm, cozy hat keeping my heat in!
Both Amy and I liked the final Snowdonia hike, but it's not super long. I have mostly been rowing this week so nothing else to recommend; maybe check out what's available in the international parks series?
This week is so busy work and home; yesterday I was amazed it was only Tuesday.

G'morning all!
QJB - I don't know where you find your memes but they always put a smile on my face, first thing in the morning. Today's meme cracked me up, because I feel self conscious about my jogging speed. A long time ago, before WLS, I even hired a chi running coach to teach me the right form. She filmed me running and after watching myself running, my cadence looked like a hippo in the park, I quit. I started again after WLS. I have a couple of running shirts with funny sayings : "running slow is not a character flaw, quitting is", and one I usually wear on rare occasions I sign up for a race "dear lord, let there be someone behind me to read this"! When I was doing HIIT with DH last summer, he told me to think a tiger is chasing me and to run as fast as I can. I told him if a tiger chased me I'd just give up and let him eat me, I'm not running fast.
QOTD: living in CA I hardly need gloves. But when we are in cold areas I have cute gloves with fake fur in them that I wear. QJB, I heard people skiing that prefer mittens to gloves because the fingers stay together and keep each other warm. Try mittens instead of gloves. Nowadays I love the gloves that have finger touch so you can still use your phone while the gloves are on. I have one of those for skiing.
My meals yesterday:

- Costco egg bites + cauliflower thins
- A slice of garlic cheddar focaccia bread
- Mex cauliflower rice + chicken bites
- E: 30 minutes cardio + 60 minutes weight training.
