yes - you're right. I'd forgotten that part. Which to me makes a stronger case that it really IS more her responsibility. If she'd been taking her meds, she wouldn't have been having the panic attacks - and we probably could have gone on our trip.

I couldn't stay off the scale. It is too easy to deceive yourself that you are not gaining weight.

I didn't really stay off it - I could never do that or I'd gain weight for sure. I just backed off and did it once a week instead of every day. But I think I'm going to go back to daily - or maybe every other day. Either way, I can't really see trends anymore, since any weight loss at this weight is going to be measured in ounces, not pounds (unless you're talking a month or more...)

I currently do once per week but I am in the rapid weight loss part of the journey. However, I can see how the once a week could be hard once you get to maintenance and ups/downs may or maynot be attributed to water fluctuations vs. actual gain. I will probably revert to daily or every other day once I get to my goal to keep a closer eye on my weight. I do not want to gain my weight back and this will help keep me honest in the long haul.

Good morning, everybody!

A lot of our group is in warm wonderful places. I think Kaleigh is in the Caribbean, Hilary just got back, Chrissy is headed South this morning and I think Liz is in the Keys. In addition to the vacationers, I know that we have a few who live year round in the Sun. I hope that everybody is having fantastic trips.

It's still winter here, but moving towards what I call soft winter. The biggest difference to me is that in soft winter I can walk to my car without having to bundle up. I couldn't stay outside for any length of time in shorts and a sweatshirt, but for the few seconds it takes to go from house to car it works.

We did Barbara yesterday. I scaled it to 5 rounds of 10 Ring Rows, 20 Modified push-ups 30 sit-ups and 40 squats and I'm still tired this morning. Body weight stuff is hard.

QOTD: I will go to Godiva and get Marilyn chocolates and a Bear. Sometimes she sends treats to the kids. But it's not a big holiday for us. Super Bowl is a bigger deal.

Breakfast: Sausage and cottage cheese

Lunch: Eggplant

Dinner: Hello Fresh

Have a great day, all!

G'morning all!

This week is the 100th week of no gym and working out from home. March 14, 2020 was the first week. I started with the idea that it would be just a couple of weeks so I put a number next to each weekly routine my PT sent me. Well...this week we celebrated the 100th one. Human nature is to adapt, I can't even imagine going back to the gym.

QOTD: I am going to a galentine on Sunday at pebble beach. Just a group of women who are sick and tired of wfh attire, so we booked a brunch at Roy's and the dresscode is resort attire. After that we take off the shoes for a long walk on the beach. Fo V day DH and I usually stay home. About 10 years ago we both got food poisoning at a restaurant on V day and swore off going out. So I just cook him his favorite dinner and we watch a movie. He likes not having to fight the crowds (especially now) for a decent seating at a restaurant. I already got him his Reese's chocolate in the shape of a heart.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Mex cauli rice + 2 scrambled eggs
  • Quest bar, 1/4 cup icecream , hot cocoa
  • 2 hb eggs
  • E: 5 miles jog - legs felt like lead

Happy jr Fri-yay!

Mernin errybody, Happy Friday Eve!

QOTD - Hubs and I do celebrate V-day, but we try to keep it small. I also attend the annual Galentine's party, surprisingly enough at the ex-wife's house! It's a fun shindig, Uteruses before Duderuses, Hoes before Broes, Ladies Celebrating Ladies, etc. It's a celebration of all the women, and it's a pretty damn good time. The last time was 2020, 2021 didn't happen due to Covid. Looking forward to it this Saturday!

Breakfast - coffee and a breakfast bar (nuts/etc.)

Lunch - pulled jackfruit sandwich, sweet potato fries

Dinner - veggie spaghetti, salad, and garlic bread

Hope you all have a great day!

Christina

Let it begin with me.

Good morning ~ Manifesto? I am so curious about your work drama! Yesterday I ended up going home early to be with my guys. They both were taking it really hard about Lucy. We said our good-byes and took her into the vet to be cremated. They both want her ashes. We also ordered a paw print thing. My son wants to have it tattooed on his leg where she always 'booped' him with her nose(she was blind). We all ate and drank our feelings and talked about our sweet girl. It was a wonderful cathartic day. Thank you for all the support.

Happier times - kiddo and Lulu

QOTD - Not sure, actually. The plan is to go on the food/drink wagon after the super bowl ****il the Derby, with a free day on St Pats), so we are probably eating salad and drinking water on Valentines day, lol.

Today is a clean day, I need it after yesterday. I'm actually a little hung over.

b-magic spoon cereal, fairlife milk

l-chicken bites, salad, chipotle aioli, pickles

d-pastrami, pickles, peppers, mustard

Looking so forward to my spa day tomorrow. I'm getting a massage and body scrub then the pool for the afternoon with my sisters. Can't wait.

Have a great day!
