Good morning! We are in Santa Ana weather here -- going to be very warm (all you East Coaster's are welcome to come visit), in the 80's and it's dry as a hot stone out there. My skin is unamused.

I was successful on food this weekend with very little mistakes. I did have a glass of wine last night, but I had plenty of calories available to do that. And I got a bunch of work done for the office, cleaned out and rearranged my "Tupperware" drawer, though none of it is Tupperware any more, it's all glass, and cleaned the inside of the fridge. Today is a pedi, lunch with a friend, and getting my blonde back on this afternoon. It's a tough life over here today!

QoTD: Yes, we have actually been watching. Lots of the skating and downhill mogul. Not common for us. And not as many hours as Reacher. By the way, I'm loving Roscoe as much as Reacher.

Menu:
B: left over 1/4 TJ's quiche with a bacon and cheddar topper

L: chicken fajitas

D: bunless cheeseburger, slice of bacon, 4-5 Tater tots

Peace Everybody!

QOTD- Nope, not even interested.

I did my training for the Humane Society. I took one dog out for a walk, they use a different type of harness and leash so it was a change. It's been a long time since I walked a dog, but it was fun. I stopped by the cat O'hana on the way out, and there were some sweet kitties. My Mom has a huge orange tabby he's like 18lbs and I told her there was an even bigger one there. It was really sweet and only had one eye but she was way overweight.

My cat Sammy gave me a heart attack on Sunday. I went out really early to avoid the crowds I did gas at Costco at 6AM, then Walmart it opened at 6 and then Target that opened at 7. So I got home and was bringing in my groceries and saw Sammy go out, he usually only goes a few feet then comes right back in. Not yesterday I was out looking for him for over 20 minutes, I know he's micro chipped but he's old and deaf and doesn't know the area. I went out again to look and I see him heading this way by the next building down. So I go grab him, and he hissed at me when I picked him up, I'm thinking he just didn't recognize me. So I bring him home and start crying uncontrollably. I'll make sure he doesn't get out again. He even let me sleep until about 4:30 this morning. So maybe his escape wasn't a bad thing.

I'm loving the Fairlife milk, it has so much more protein. I've been using it in my mochas and custard. Trying to up my protein.

I need to get to work. Have a great day everyone!

Good Monday Morning,

I am usually off on Mondays but I am flexing my work week to M-Th this week because we are heading to Montana for my FIL's 95th birthday! It will be a quick trip there and back but it will be nice to see family again (last time was Christmas). We are also picking up the 1980s Ford F150 that my FIL has given my DD. When my son turned 16 my FIL gave him their old (1992) Lincoln Town Car. It is in pretty good shape. In fact I am driving it until my new car gets here (thats another story) and lots of people comment on how cool it is. So now my DD gets a truck, she is super excited about it. I am sure the gas mileage will be atrocious. It has dual fuel tanks so it will be a fortune to fill up.

The weekend flew by. Saturday we drove DS to a local univeristy to drive around the town (it is located about 40 minutes from our house) and look at the univerisity. The town is pretty small, maybe around 10k in population (before student). My son does not want to live in the dorms (dont blame him). He doesn't like to poop in public bathrooms, he said if he lived in the dorms he would hold it until the end of the school year! I had to laugh at that. I think my DH would prefer DS to commute to school when he goes but I totally understnad my DS need to be independent. Sunday we went skiing. The weather was beautiful and the snow was really good.

QOTD: I have no****ched the Olympics.

B: Triple zero greek yogurt with collagen, cold brew with caramel drizzle and half n half

L: 1 chicken skewer, letttuce, 3 baby carrots, 5 cherry tomatoes, ff fench dressing

S: Chocolate PP

D: ground turkey stuffed poblano pepper

S: 100 cal bag kettle corn, 2 sf chocolate pieces

E: 30 min eliptical, 30 min yoga, 15 min resistance bands

I do not understand why people are bothered with using public bathrooms for #2. Now granted in my day I has some serious stomach issues and when the time called it did not matter if it was a port o john in a construction site I would go anywhere. However it is part of life we all got to do it right?

some universities are building modern dorms with private baths - well, private only in that you share it with your roommate or in some cases in a 2- or 3-room suite, but still, it's not like the old days when 50 kids shared a communal bathroom on their floor. So maybe something like that might be better???

Good morning ~ Those cookies are adorable, JB. I jus****ched Encanto with my son yesterday -yes, we still do that! What a day already - being off unexpectedly last week really hit me this morning plus I was late due to an accident on the freeway, but did make my management meeting in time. Just ran out and picked up my new glasses - RED!! I've always wanted red glasses. Will share on Friday. I have another meeting in 20 minutes, then lunch then a ton more work. Had a lovely weekend finished Reacher (yum) on Saturday and felt better enough to do an easy hike Sunday - it felt good. Happy to be back to a regular schedule, I just need to catch up. I went ahead and booked the 3rd night for the conference and bought my event tickets. Is there really a costume party?

QOTD - I've caught a little bit, not really my thing. I feel bad for the Skier that wiped out and another who got seriously hurt - I can't remember their names. I like summer Olympics better.

Accountability - fresh start, not gonna talk about this past week!

B- coffee, costco egg white bites

l- chicken bites, TJ's mexi-cali-rice

d- tri tip, stuffed jalapeno and stuffed mushroom

s-light string cheese

e- slept in today, but my office staff came up with a schedule of 5 minutes on the hours stretches I may do if I have time - pretty cool I think.

Have a great day!!
