G'morning all!

QJB - the cookies look great. Hint...I'm obsessed with Encanto too! ;)

We had a great weekend skiing. The weather was gorgeous, the snow was perfect and the lines weren't too bad. We hit the slopes on both days around 10:00 and didn't stop till we had to get off the slopes because they were closing the main gondola going back down (around 4:30). I didn't wanna waste time for lunch and go into the lodge, so I carried with me protein bars and epic bars that I would eat while standing in line. Here are some pics of our glorious weekend. The blue in the background is Lake Tahoe.

QOTD: Haven't had a chance yet but plan to. Especially skiing, snowboarding and skating.

My meals yesterday

  • Scrambled eggs, and two bites of a biscuit
  • Barebells protein bar, epic chicken
  • Protein puffs
  • E: downhill ski

Happy start of the week.

When we went to Heavenly, my goal was to one time get high enough on the Mountain to see the Lake. I did it a couple of times, but was pretty scared of the heights and speed going down. Even though I'm lighter now, I think I'm still retired from skiing.

The highest elevation we got to this weekend was 11,753 feet. I always skied, even during my heavy years; my only concern was falling down and not being able to get up on my own. Nowadays no longer worried about that.

How cute are you. Your husband was lucky to have a weekend with his snow bunny. Those photos are so amazing. But I ain't gonna lie, right now in life I'd rather see your back beach then all this snow. I am so over it.

I get it. I'm always by the beach so the snow excites me. I hope you have a great time in FL.
