Hey Gang! It's Junior Friday! Yesterday was a long ass day, I was the first one in the parking lot and the last one out. I wish there was a prize for that. I just had this one thing I was determined to do before I left, but 1000 crises kept getting in the way. When I finally sat down to do it, I realized I didn't have the info I needed but everyone who could help me had left for the day Gah. Today is going to be another long ass day, but only because I woke up at 2am and have been up ever since. But hey, I read the entire internet... so that was fun, lol.

But in exciting news... I am thinking that tomorrow might be another snow day?? This time it's not really snow, more like a day of rain & sleet followed by freezing temps turn the whole slushy pile into a sheet of ice. Yikes, this is going to be a long winter.

QOTD: Did your school have special theme days when you were a kid? I don't remember ever having a fun dress up day when I was in school, but it feels like every week kids something else. Pajama day, book character day, superhero day, 100 day celebration, 85 days left (dress like 1985), etc...

Food was finally normal yesterday! I did break down and have a small bag of chips at work in the evening while I was there late, but otherwise completely on track.

Good mornin everyone...I think. Well it's morning anyway...lol

we are snowed in. We've gotten about 5 inches of snow with more to come today. A lot of the local schools are closed. My body hurts so so badly. It feels like it's been hit by every truck in Texas. I'm over this ****

not a lot planned for the day. I need to make a few maille pieces and clean a little bit. Oh and my mom is wanting some blueberry muffins so I'll make those for her here in a couple of hours so she'll have a fresh one to eat for breakfast. I need to figure out what I want to do for my birthday. It's on the 11th and I've got no clue. My brother and his family will likely be over for it this weekend. I'd just assume to do nothing lol. I'm not feelin it this year...at all. I may just get a frozen dessert for them.

I've decided to do mostly liquids/soft foods. I am letting my depression win again. I'm not eating horribly but it is just not where it needs to be. I'm having issues with my pain med and stomach stuff. So I'm going to finish my JUST egg bottle for a few days breakfast and do softer food and protein shakes for as long as I feel I need to. Not going to predefine it or be super strict about it either.

QOTD: big no here too. I don't remember ever being able to dress up like my nieces and nephew do.

B: JUST egg bowl with a slice of bacon and coffee x2

L: Atkins Shake and a SF jello parfait

D: PP blueberries and cream shake

S: Yogurt with blueberries and ???

Good morning, everybody!

Chrissy straightened me out yesterday - I already have a ticket to the convention and she told me where to find it. And then Marilyn printed it out for me because I am like the people at the airport who are turning into their parents. (Please don't let me turn into the guy with the group 9 boarding pass who stands straddling the group 1-4 and 5-9 lanes for the entire duration of boarding, like an alluvial boulder in a stream).

Anyways, not only was I wrong about Chrissy day drinking at Gobbler's Knob (I had to look that up to make sure it was real), but she is wayyy ahead of me on technology.

It's three weeks until the Crossfit Open starts. I don't feel ready. Last year, I think that I just felt better being in Florida. Yesterday we did a practice round - Event 19.1. We divided the class so that everyone scored another member and counted their reps. That really adds to the intensity. For masters men the event was 15 minutes of 19 20 pound wall balls to a 9 foot target and then a 19 calorie row. I did 5 full rounds plus 17 more wall balls (207 reps). And then I went home and coughed. I was still coughing when bedtime came.

With all that activity, I thought that I would sleep better, but no.

I'm going to Styx/REO Speedwagon/Loverboy June 4th with the tennis ladies. My teenage self would have been horrified by that choice, but anything in summer sounds good now.

QOTD: I don't recall that. I'm old enough that when I was in kindergarten we brought in towels that we would lie on to take naps when the teachers decided that we, as a class, were tired.

Breakfast: omlette

Lunch: Mahi burger

Dinner: Hello Fresh

Have a great day, all!

I saw Styx in 1978. Really liked them at the time - maybe I still...

Your Peter Frampton 1976 as like a 12 year old still wins the internet though.
