I need to check that. Thanks. I don't go to Aldi often enough, and I almost always have a hard time staying with my list.

I'm little snobby about butter and ghee. Some just taste or smell fake. As if they have other things added, mixed in. I once bough butter than we wouldn't eat. I had to give it away. Even cat refused. They love butter on their shrimps. Yes, i cook shrimps in butter for my cats.
When I make ghee I use organic butter, unsalted. it takes me app 30-45 min, and I make 2 x 16 oz jars. I think I burned it only 1 time. It so easy, and I know exactly what I am putting in the pot.

QOTD. We had no wall paper when I was growing up. I wall papered a couple of bathrooms but it's been gone for a long long time. I have a small bit in a dinette area, but it is so subtle you don't notice it. I have plans to take that down if I can get hubs to do it. Or if I can get my grandson to do it.

It is a beautiful sunny day here and it's warm enough for me. If it's below 70 degrees I bundle up! I am looking forward to my "girls week at the beach". We have booked the condo for first week in June. Only 4 months to go.

Menu. Chili, chicken, Asian salad with oranges. Scale has not moved this week. Patience. Ugh.

QOTD- I hate wallpaper, the house I grew up in had awful wallpaper and paint. The wallpaper was plaid with black and green, red & yellow. The one in my brothers room was evil soldiers that my Mom papered over. The worst was the walls and all of the ceilings were dark green. Talk about a cave, my Mom still hates dark green to this day her house is strictly white with a pale blue in her bedroom.

My roommate was ghosting me for the last 8 days. He finally called yesterday. Sad to say I'm pretty dependent on him. I feel so alone here. I am going to volunteer at the Humane Society, so I'll get my doggy fix and hopefully meet some people.

I bought some 20X binoculars so I need to get out and find some whales.

Have a great day everyone!

All of you where the storm is supposed to hit, stay warm and safe!

Glad your reaching out to volunteer. I think this is a great and I am sure they will appreciate you. You may even bring your work home. Hope your cat won't mind.

Happy Hump Day,

Sending everyone who is not feeling well some good wishes to get well soon. Certainly sounds like stuff is going around. I noticed that ever since I had WLS my nose runs constantly for no reason. Anyone else have that issue?

I did manage to get to the onsite gym to do my aerobic work. It turns out I prefer the treadmill to the elipitical machine but I will continue to try to get my workout in during lunch. I plan on doing it again today. I had my days mixed up so today is the running start zoom meeting I thought was last night! Today is just another day at work.

I was curious if after the initial rapid weightloss after surgery did you notice any skin tightening after you started the maintenance phase? I have lots of lose skin and wonder if any of it will tighten. I realize that I probably have over-stretched the tissue over the years of obesity (plus my age is a factor) but do hope to see some improvement over time. Probably will want some plastic surgery eventually to remove excess skin. Just curious.

QOTD: I have no wallpaper in my house. Growing up my mom did have wallpaper that was tastefully placed. She actually hung it herself and did a good job.

If you are over 50 there is a very slim chance. Even with all of the running I do my thighs are still saggy gross. But they were worse after year 1. If I would have recovery time from work I would do so much more plastic but at this time I am lucky to get 2 days off in a row. Maybe you can take the clinic you are working for to give you free plastics as an example for new patients. Wishful thinking.

In the 80's I had wallpaper in orange, yellow, and green in the kitchen. I still use the Fiesta dishes that I bought to match it. One bathroom was a yellow plaid that I loved. When I moved into my house it had wallpaper in the bathrooms and I put it on my list to get it taken down and the walls painted. But it grew on me and I haven't done anything with it yet. The main bathroom has white wallpaper with turquoise and Burgandy flowers. I bought towels, shower curtain and window curtains to match and like it now. There is not a lot of it, it is more of an accent with the white tile walls. Another bathroom has a very subtle tan wallpaper that looks fine. One day I will change it but no rush.
