You can get them on Amazon also. I bought a variety pack with BBQ, marghertia pizza, nacho, garlic parmesian, sour cream and onion, jalapeno cheddar (my favorite) flavors. It was $59.99 for a 12 pack (2 serving per pack) ($4.99/ea). They are an easy way to get extra protein and take while to eat.

Nope they were this brand. See the Macros and see which one is better. They were pretty good.

One bag of the twin peaks is about 42g of protein with 4 gr of carb. The cals are a little bit higher though at 260 (the nacho cheese one).

Twin Peaks has double the protein in a smaller amount but the Iwon has Fiber and 1/2 the sodium I say flavor would be the determining factor for me.

I've had both and would definitely pick Twin peaks.

Oh no, sorry you are feeling bad again, seems like you haven't kicked it fully since you first got sick on vacation. I do wonder how much we notice now vs what we would have noticed in Jan 2019, like Sheila mentioned. This hyper-vigilance is ingrained now.

I was having a conversation with a co-worker and he talked about how it will be nice when people can just go in to the office because they know it's just "cold or flu not covid" and I pointed out "you know, colds and flu were contagious and you should have exposed other people to them before 2020 too, right?"....but I was an early adopter of remote and so my teams always felt empowered to take their sick time if they needed it or work from home if they were in that "contagious but don't feel bad enough to stay in bed" phase. I am not sure we're actually learning anything through this cycle.

QOTD - no wallpaper; it looks so dated so fast I don't think I could do it...and I don't think I'd every do it in the bathroom or the kitchen where things can get a little damp. (I almost used the m-word, lol). I have seen some gorgeous silk and linen walls in some of the older museum type houses, I'm always amazed at how great it looks so maybe I could be persuaded. (I am also anti-paneling....and then there was that whole, let me put paneling on the side of station wagon phase, ugh).

I will have some shoveling to do today, seems like it's still snowing but lightly, looked outside and it's only about 8 inches so nothing serious; I'll do either the elliptical or rower and then my therapist sent me some new PT exercises that I have to get in. Today's after work activity for our sales conference is virtual board games; I'll be glad when this week is over but we've had some very good content so there's that.

Menu today is

coffee plus half and half

hot tea to off set the high of 20 today

Ozery plus PB

3 pepper gouda cheese cubes and pistachios

not sure on dinner, I might defrost some ground beef and make enchilada filling or I might just zap one of my chicken green chili left overs

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone

(and just for Teenie, here's a camel posing while looking for the weekend!)

I love camels, I've always wanted to ride one. Maybe it's because the first movie I ever saw in a theater was Lawrence of Arabia.

They are not a smooth ride. Also, because of the way they stand up/sit down, it's remarkable easy to go head over heels off them! Horses are much more fun!
