G'morning all!
Do you remember about a week ago how low key I was bragging about our sunny warm weather while you guys on the East or Midwest were freezing? I know you'd laugh at me but 40 degrees in CA is cold. Imagine me going running in 40 degrees. I had my long sleeve shirt, my vest, my gloves, my headband (it keeps my ears warm) and still I was cold. Usually after the first mile I'm sweating but yesterday morning I was brrrr the whole time. Again, not saying I know what you guys are going through but I had a tiny taste of cold for CA and do not like it a bit. Our high yesterday was about 50 (I know, it's balmy for you guys) but didn't reach it till about 3:00 pm.
QOTD: no, haven't played wordle yet, although I've been hearing a lot about it. I have only a couple of games on my phone that I usually play on the plane if I have finished my book and can't download another one: 2048, minesweeper, Ruzzle.
My meals yesterday, doing IF (open window 1:00-7:00)
- Coffee
- Mex cauli rice + chicken bites
- Hot cocoa , pecorino cheese, barebells bar
- Protein puff
- E: 5 miles jog
Happy Taco Tue!

Hello Menures,
JBQ-I wish my ski hill would get that snow you had.
Skiing was good on Sunday. I have noticed that my fingers stay cold though. I think it is the weightloss since they tend (an myself) to be cold inside the house also. I did have some of DH's bday cake, I had to scrape off the frosting since it was so sweet. I still felt a little like I was going to have dumping. So glad I took the frosting off! I hate that feeling. Yesterday was shopping and some food prep for the week. Today I brought my gym clothes so that I can use my lunch time to get in my aerobic workout. I think I will also do the weight circuit. Maybe try for 3 times weekly, then resistance bands other days. Tonight I have a zoom meeting with DD's school regarding Running Start. This is a program that high school juniors and seniors can attend local colleges to earn college credits and be applied to their high school credits also. It is a great program because the classes are paid for by the school district and many kids can come away with an AA degree. DD is interested in becoming a pyschiatrist, which means medical school. So starting earlier means she can start her career earlier. She is also very conscious about the cost of college.
QOTD: I have benn hearing about Wordle but haven't played it yet. I have just added the app to my phone and will give it a try. I seem to go in phases with games. My current favorite is Ball Sort Puzzle. It can be frustrating at times. For awhile it was Words with Friends..
