I saw that some of our weather people must have moved to the east coast -- 2 to 22 inches is a range, lol.

good mornin JB and everyone. Not feeling a 100% myself. Thinkin I have a sinus infection at least. Hoping it's just that...

It's supposed to snow up to 3 inches of snow today. I'm feeling super groggy. I got up around 1 and when I laid back down at 3:30ish I just kind of passed out for about 30 minutes...man it does a number on me! I just feel so weird. I'm on my second cup of coffee so far and I see at least one more in my future. At least we'll be home all day so I'm hoping for a nap or two.

My back and legs have been hurting really bad the past week. I'm just so over this **** I had been trying to cut back on pain meds but then it started hurting more and more...even when I went back to the prescribed amount it still hurts just as much. I have at least started using resistance bands on my arms for light stuff. We walked a lot yesterday at Walmart while getting groceries and it made me hurt very very badly. My depression...I finally admit, has been bad. I've been trying to fake it till you make it... I se my psychiatrist in early March. It can't come soon enough. I'll continue plugging along...I'm to stubborn to give up or in just yet.

Can you get on the waitlist for cancellations to possibly see your doctor sooner?

I am indeed on the list! They said it's unlikely to get in early though.

Melody-I am sorry you are suffering between your pain and depression. Have they made any medication adjustments for your depression? Maybe you should call your provider for an adjustment.

I called but they seriously doubt I'll get in sooner. The practice is state funded and they are really really bogged down. I'm on the list though! I hate saying I'm having an issue. I feel like nothing will ever be right. Ugh...negative self talk is the worst.

Pain meds can make depression much worse. Plus the pain, plus winter. Plus post anesthesia depression. All adds up.

if you are on the same meds for a while, they may not be as effective as in first few years. I hate changing meds like that but they help me retain part of my sanity.

That's a really good point that I hadn't even thought about. I've been on Effexor for about 8 or 9 months. I take so much other stuff too. Thanks for pointing that out for me!
