What's on your Wednesday Menu?

Morning All! Happy HUMP DAY :) Nothing new here. My PCR test came back negative, so I am just plain-old sick, as usual. You'd think my body would have figured out super-immunity by now, since I have worked in schools since 1993, but so be it... I am doomed to have the sniffles for life, I guess. It doesn't bother me too much, but I hate wondering if I am spreading covid all of the time.

I am remembering that my Wednesday meeting schedule is not conducive to eating, so I set the bar low for a mid-day meal, but I hope I will be able to get through these snack-y things as quick bites during 5 minute breaks.

PICTURE QOTD:

Squeeee! I am naming him Mocha ;)

Broken record here.....food was great at work all day but then I came home and had a high calorie dinner instead of what I planned. I just always run out of steam to stay on track by the end of the day.

Happy Humpty Day everyone!

QJB- Glad that you're negative, feel better quickly.

QOTD: String cheese

Venturing out in the cold today to do some grocery shopping with only a couple bad choices. Definitely will be bundling up with the negative wind chills here. This week's film is Vertigo and I'm a big Hitch**** fan.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Strawberry Cheesecake, Tangerine. TJ cold brew coffee, unsweetened almond milk, sf vanilla, stevia.

L: Chicken salad.

D: Shrimp and ****tail sauce.

What are your favorite set of resistance bands?

Have a great Humpty Day everyone.

Vertigo is my all time #1 film! I bet I have seen it 50 times.

Grim and I decided at the beginning of the pandemic that we were going to watch all of Hitch****'s moves. We didn't get too far into it because we discovered that the movies he is famous for (which we had already seen) are the good ones, and the others are... boring.

yea - he started out doing mystery, whodunit kinds of films (before switching to the more well-known "horror"-type ones like "Psycho"). I definitely don't like those old mystery ones as well.

Hi - Rogue Fitness bands (the tube ones with the handles, anyway) are very highly recommended (their non-handle ones may be as well, but I didn't research those because I wanted the ones with handles). The instructor for my senior strength-training class said they were the best on the market, and the day after I talked to her, Jim here on OH recommended them as well! And after doing some online research, a lot of folks seemed to concur. They're not cheap - $75 if you buy the whole set (six bands) - and about $20 each if you buy them individually. But supposedly, they're very well-constructed and will last for years. I've read complaints about other bands (e.g., on Amazon) that they (other bands) tend to stretch out or break over time - but not the Rogues.
