Ok. I wrote out a whole thing and then the computer ate it.

So, real quick as things are blowing up here...yesterday was amazing and restful, today is already a sh#t show, I ate chocolate yesterday, QoTD is the book I am reading now, The only woman in the room. It's based on a true story and I should have figured out earlier who the character Hedy was...

and food. I have left over good choice and we are going out to dinner tonight.

Peace Everybody! Send good thoughts that I don't axe murder an employee today!

I had to stop reading Verity. So disturbing! I couldn't take any more. I don't want to keep reading but I kind of want someone to spoil the ending for me lol.

Good morning ~ Yay for 9 hours! I'm a decent sleeper already but lately I've been reading before bed. I can barely get through a couple pages before I am out. It's great! Today is a light calendar day so I will enjoy as I just added a dozen or more future meetings and tasks.

QOTD - I will check out Midnight Library. I don't have a shout it from roof top recommend. I'm deep into some therapy/self help stuff, between historical/celebrity memoir fluff, my favorite classics that I re-read over and over and currently - a beautiful book about art history. Unfortunately, that is the one that has been putting me to sleep lately but it's really an incredible book.

Accountability - great for food, but yes, there was wine.

B- coffee, egg beaters, bacon bits, ff cheddar

l- TJ lemon pepper chicken, salad mix, chipotle aioli, pickles

d- the never ending smoked pork butt - it's really delicious, but it's day 4....

e - My new Rouge resistance bands - I am in love! These are great quality, and their door strap? You could hang off a skyscraper with that sucker. I ordered another one so I don't have to keep moving it. I just got a stretch strap (amazon) - it's wonderful. I have low back and hip issues and using this was heaven today. Great workout.

217.2 c'mon

Have a great day!

Last month I read a book on Kindle called the Widow. K. L. Slater is one amazing writer. I can't get enough of her stories and have read five more of her books and working on reading all of them. Her stories are so good and have amazing twists. Before that I read Hammet, because some here mentioned it. Think it was Jen.

Happy Tuesday,

Not a lot on the calendar today. I was slated to attend pinnochle tonight but decided I would rather go home and get my workout in. Yesterday was productive with laundry, grocery shopping, and some light meal prep. It seems like I need to only prep about 3 meals a week since my intake is so small and only me an DD are eating what I make. DS is doing a bodybuilding diet with alot of protein so he eats alot of protein drinks for his meals. I am definitely seeing some muscle gains. My DH can't quite get his mojo going related to his diet, so he generally grabs fast food or makes a quick/easy meal. However, he does lift weights with my son. Unfortunately, he is at the point where his weight brings him down energy wise and emotionally. I try to remain supportive and non-judgemental since I have been where he is at.

QOTD: I am listening to the Game of Thrones series on audiobook, which I really like. I can't think of a really great book that I must recommend...
