What's on your Sunday menu?
Marilyn and her friends thought about trying to see Adele while they are in Vegas, but she just cancelled her residency for the time being.

Mornin' All!
a friend messaged me last night to see if I wanted to go to a play with her this afternoon. She was supposed to go with a friend who came down with COVID, and she was hoping someone could use the ticket so it didn't go to waste - so my friend said I could have it (and go with her to the play) - so....I'm going. Other than that, not much going on today, other than I'm hoping to finish this book for my book discussion group.
QOTD: the only time I play music anymore is when I'm in my car. I channel surf but usually end up on some oldies station, since late 60s to mid-70s was mostly my "era" (junior high/high school). Plus much of the popular music during that era was pretty great...
B: plain skyr with cranberry/cherry compote, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: ramen-less ramen soup (I just threw chicken and a bunch of vegetables in ramen broth). Maybe a keto cookie, too, to get me through the afternoon at the theater
AS/D: by the time I get home, it'll probably be about time for dinner, so 1/2 an Impossible burger on 1/2 a slim bun ****ep writing this down but so far have opted for something else). Some kind of vegetable, too.
ex: resistance bands and maybe some kind of cardio
have a great Sunday, everyone! And I agree, Melody - you should look into being a pet photographer!
I agree! I was younger than that in the late 60s, but I had a lot of friends with older siblings, so I was very familiar with late 60s music. And of course, I was junior high/early high school in the early to mid-70s. The disco era started when I was a junior or senior. Hated it with a passion. It was such a sea change from the music earlier in the decade. Couldn't stand it. That was the time I started listening to FM "album rock", which was a thing then. I don't mind disco music now that I'm into dance cardio (you can't really do dance cardio to late 60s/early 70s music), but boy...I sure hated it back when it was popular!
Good morning! We had a great evening by the campfire with four generations of family and a few bonus family (best friends) thrown in. We were cold, it was in the 40's and 50's. I know, we are big babies! But I had a wonderful night after a really good day. As far as accountability, my food options were not great, but I just nibbled and had only one small glass of wine. You know, like a normal person she doesn't have to fight food all the time! So much fun. I loved helping make the s'mores with the kids and felt no need to eat one. We also got about 8 miles in on the bikes.
Today is for sure another bike ride with the girls and then taking them back to their parents at lunch time. It will be very quiet after that.
QoTD: I'm very eclectic about most music, but I do have the new Adele on loop in the car right now. AndI cannot wait for the new Walker Hayes CD to drop this week.
Menu:
B. Poached egg and slice of bacon
L: TBD
D: bun less cheeseburger and a few tater tots.
Peace Everyone!
