Good mornin everyone, hope that you're all having a good weekend and staying warm.
Not much planned today. Hoping it stays that way!
I have an appointment with my GP tomorrow and then a phone appointment in the afternoon. Not looking forward to either. I am hoping to get my GP to order a bone density scan. We'll see I guess.
QOTD: what's your most played music at this point of the year?
Right now I have a playlist of a lot of different stuff. Saint Asonia and of mice and men among the newest.
B: egg cup and coffee
L: Atkins vanilla latte shake
D: PP shake with strawberries
S: raspberries and ???
here are a couple of pictures taken with the new to me camera I got at the thrift store.

Melody, you should look into becoming a professional photographer for pets. I know that I and people like me would pay well for a stunning picture of my cat. You have a wonderful talent. Did you know the parents of the cat with blue eyes. I have seen some all-white cats with blue eyes. They are beautiful but almost always are deaf. The gene that causes blue eyes usually also carries deafness.
I hope you get the bone density scan and that the results are good. The last time my sister got one the doctor told her to make sure she sits down when getting dressed because her bones are so brittle that just a very slight fall could break a bone.
QOTD: I listen to old songs by Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, Peter, Paul, and Mary and many others. I always loved country music, Irish and American folk music. When I was growing up, I played the violin and learned all the classics, but when I was just having fun, I liked to play square dancing type songs. When I saw the movie Deliverance, I loved the dueling banjos.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
I don't think that was intended as a happy song.

Thanks! I have seen her momma and she is almost an exact copy of the markings but a different "kind" of fur. Opal is very compact and very very thick furred. He momma is more lean like Percy with fur texture like Percy as well.
Opal hasn't exhibited any deafness as of yet. But she does only hear when she wants to...typical kitty LOL. I have heard that about white cats with blue eyes too. We had a neighbor who's cat had one blue and one yellow eye...it was deaf on the side with the blue eye.
