Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

We got that sub zero weather here in Pittsburgh this weekend as well. So with that said I have a friend who invited me to her condo in Florida and I am taking her up on it. I am going to take a 4 day weekend coming up in February and get some Sunshine in my pocket and bring it back to Pittsburgh. She also booked a cooking lesson with some Italian Chef who is supposed to be either really famous or just really successful but I do not know who it is yet so that will be exciting. This will be my first flight since Covid so to say I am anxious is an understatement. I just do not know all the rules and I don't want to get booted from the flight for not following protocol. Does anyone know if Covid testing is required for domestic flights?

Today should be smooth sailing. I am going to get a pedicure today. My poor little toes will be freezy but they have not been done for awhile so they are due. My weekend consist of Going to the Crazy 8 all body workout tomorrow morning, doing the Mom duties which consist of Laundry, cleaning up her kitchen, making sure her fridge does not have food too old to eat, Shampooing and setting her hair. She has not bowling tomorrow so I have no time restraint to get it done. Sunday is Church, I volunteered to help make a meal for a luncheon the church is having, then dinner out with friends. Easy peasy right? Hope no wrenches get thrown my way!!!

QOTD: Last year I went hunting for GSC because they had a new French toast flavor and DH love French toast. This year I will try to avoid them like the plague unless someone I knows kid is selling them.

Accountability: I did good. 1 handful of granola and very few peanuts.

No vaccine or test requirements for domestic flights, at least not yet. Just keep your mask on.
I heard a flight Miami-London returned to Miami after one a-hole refused to keep his/her mask on. Can anyone be more entitled to ruin everybody's plan for his/her perceived freedom?

Literally the only rule for domestic flights is to keep your mask on and so many people can't follow it. I was on a flight where while taxiing they said that they would have to turnaround if someone didn't stop taking their mask off but at least it wasnt mid flight. If I had been on that UK bound flight they would have ended up arresting me too when I slugged the asshat that made us turn around, lol.

enjoy your visit and don't be anxious! They studies show that the air exchange in the plane is actually good; it's the airport that's sketchy but i thought the airport was sketchy pre Covid too!

We said the same thing. I would have been beyond furious. Not just turned around, they cancelled the flight I think I heard. I'd hunt him down and sue him in small claims or something. More to aggravate then to win. What a jack hole!

I would be right there with you. Because if he has the freedom to take his mask off, I have the freedom to slap him silly.

Good morning! It's been like three Mondays so far this week, but today looks to be starting out slow, so maybe I'll have an easy day. Still out at the campground so the evening will just be chilling and talking. I'll need to make dinner I think. Friends may show up and that will require me to rethink the situation based on my provisions in the rig. Oh, and the grand girls are coming tonight to spend the weekend. So I am up for a busy weekend with them, and all the family there tomorrow to visit with my Dad. We are thinking of ordering in for that. I don't want to spend my whole time running in and out of the rig getting food ready.

QoTD: I always will buy a few boxes if a neighborhood kid asks me too and gives me a little sales pitch. I don't really like them, but the hubs does. My only strong connection to GS is through my son's last girlfriend. We call her Hurricane. Anyway, Hurricane went through the process to earn a GS Gold Award, sort of the equivalent of BS Eagle Scout. And she and I worked together to create the framework and process of the Foundation we have in our son's memory. She did a great job and she earned her Award. And she is still one of the great loves of my life. She has a little girl now and we call her Tiny Thunderstorm.

Menu:

B: 1/2 c chicken artichoke stew with 1/4 cottage cheese stirred in

L: left over Maui ribs and grilled marinated sweet onions

D: I think it's pork chops, haloumi, avo and red onion. Naan for the guys.

S: Wine by the fire

One picture today. We got the grands crazy socks for Christmas. One pack has puppy faces, one pack has monster faces. Here the girls are wearing puppy faces. I have to say, I loved my youngest' addition of the wild sandals. HA!!

Peace Everybody!
