What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
well yes, that's true. Although in my comment, I was referring more to the "Mrs. John Smith" tradition. I'm so glad we've moved beyond that!! Even at my cousin's wedding back in the early 80's, the minister introduced them as "Mr. and Mrs. Michael Johnson" at the end of the ceremony. I was shocked. I always thought of that as something that died out in the late 60s/early 70s. But no... Hopefully she hasn't gone by "Mrs. Michael Johnson" since then! (not her real name - but I didn't want to put her real one in a public forum)

It's not common but I have plenty of people in my cohort that gave their kids the mothers last name and even a few couples that picked a new last name the was new to everyone and two couples where the husband took the wife's last name. Even back when I was a teenager, I knew someone that turned 18 and changed her last name to her grandmother's! Change is slow but it's happening!

Is it weird that I expected the next pic of the plant to be "it" eating a house pet?

I recently added sweet potatoes into my diet. My 2 favorites are with shredded chicken plus franks wing sauce or shredded chicken plus SF maple syrup-both are so good. Do you do anything special with yours? I also like to add them to roasted veggies.

I keep mine pretty simple, roasted or air fryer and then I toss them with crushed red pepper, pepper, powdered ginger, and a little bit of sea salt. I like the idea of shredded chicken too though, might have to incorporate that with my Korean fire chicken!
