Good morning all!
I made it through my first day of the semester yesterday. My microeconomics course is going to be challenging and the professor has a very heavy accent. Usually, I can understand heavy accents but noticed that key vocabulary terms are going to be a problem. I'll rely on learning those from the book. It seems like an interesting course and the professor seems invested in students' success.

I admit that I am not a student who likes to learn from the book. Reading that dry material makes my mind wander, my eyes are moving across the page but I am not absorbing the material. I learn best with a lecture or hands on.

Happy Hump Day,
I got slaughtered at Pinnochle last night but I am still learning the rules of the game. It is fun. I did manage to get my exercise in after I was done playing Pinnochle. I am missing my yoga and resistance bands, so I am looking forward to next monday when I can do that again.
I have been trying to get re-evaluated for CPAP. I would love, love love not having to use it anymore with the weight I have lost. I want to do a at home study instead of the overnight inpatient one. I requested a referral over a month ago but have just found out that my insurance requires me to see my PCP first. So I have started jumping through the hoops to get the process started.
I don't know what if up with my dogs lately. My mini goldendoodle has started whining in the middle of the night, which wakes me up. He doesn't need to go potty because if I get up to let him out he just jumps up on the bed and lies down. Stupid dog! Ugh! Otherwise, he is the best little doggy woggy!
I had actually booked a room for the OH conference before I realized it was the same weekend for the twice rescheduled My Chemical Romance concert in Seattle. Bummer. I would have liked to meet everyone in person plus Costa Mesa fun!
QOTD: Improvement in my relationship with my husband. This last weekend he sent me a love text meant for his girlfriend. I was pissed and hurt by it but not really surprised that he was still being unfaithful. he says no sex but he does say "I love you" to her. Asshole! it is funny, we don't really fight but at this point we don't really have much of a relationship, it is more built around our kids. Yet, I am not yet ready to change my situation because I don't want to split up my family (my youngest is a sophomore in high school), sell the house, split the bills, blah blah blah. So really what I want is for him to man up, stop being unfaithful, invest time in regaining my trust and build a relationship with me. What an idiot I am.

Really sorry to hear about your relationship. I don't have the patience you have... I would be the subject of a murder podcast if I were in your shoes. I hope you can find the strength to stand up for yourself and be treated the way you deserve to be.
