Spokane Washington does not fluorinate the water also. When my kids were little we gave them fluoride supplementation. Luckily they never had cavities. I had a mouth full when I was a kid, even with the fluoride swishes that the school provided (I lived on an Indian Reservation in Montana so this was offered weekly to all kids in the school).

Please report back on the protein chocolate.
I live in a hippy area that they don't even allow fluoride in the water, I can imagine their reaction to the vaccine in the water! Although the county's numbers are high for vaxxed people...so who knows.

Good morning, everybody!

Marilyn is off to Vegas with her tennis friends today. They had offered if I wanted to come with them, but I didn't want to crimp their style/listen to endless tennis. I am jealous that they are getting out of this cold weather for the next 5 days.

Me and the youngest will be hibernating in Chicago. This is finals week, so he only needs a ride to school on Monday. We will cook, read, watch TV and generally just try and stay warm. I do need to get my haircut though.

Next week we are going down to Birmingham for a UAB out of state prospective student event, so that will get us some temperate weather for a bit.

I have a meeting for my non-profit board tonight. This is the third to last meeting of the year and my seventh and final year on the Board. It's been a great experience.

QOTD: Retirement. I still have a few years ago, and I try to live in the moment and not to wish my life away, but that is it.

Breakfast: Sausage and cottage cheese

Lunch: Mahi burger

Dinner: ham

Have a great day, all!

This would be a great week to be in Vegas. I used to go with a group. I don't gamble, so they would all gamble and I would go sightseeing. I always wanted to ride that coaster on top of New York New York. Every time I was there the ride would be shut down due to high winds.

I have gone to Hoover Dam a few times and always found something new to learn. I checked out everything on the strip and downtown. I happened to be there the first night that they opened the light show downtown. That had to be more than 20 years ago. Just looked it up and it was in 1995. We were at the Fremont hotel that trip and I enjoyed downtown once it was lit up. But did not go outside of the lighted area because it was not safe.

It is a small world sometimes. That was the only time we did not stay on the strip and it was fun watching the crowds at the light show that night. There used to be really cheap flights out of Cleveland and we used to go a lot.
