Mornin' everyone!

I'm waiting for the murder trial to start again. I'm completely obsessed with this thing - there are so many interesting twists and turns in it. My brother, who lives in NC, is obsessed with it as well - he thinks they should make a TV series out of it. Anyway, the trial was postponed for a few days because the suspect tested positive for COVID - but they'll supposedly be back at it this morning. Not sure what the delay is here - I thought it would have started by now. But...we'll see.

nothing on the agenda for today other than the trial and an afternoon Mah Jongg game (we've switched to Tuesday afternoons). I have a somewhat light week this week, then classes start next week. I was approved to take another geography class. I'm waiting on approval for a US urban history class that I REALLY want to take, but I'm starting to lose hope. I'm guessing a lot of the senior auditors are opting for online classes this semester given the virus, and there aren't all that many online options. And I've heard history (and art history, too) classes are popular with senior auditors. So....I may have a lot of competition for that one. I'll check to see if there's anything else of interest - but as I recall, there wasn't much that piqued by interest besides those two.

QOTD: I live in Wisconsin, so winters are not terribly enjoyable (although other than a couple of notable exceptions, they're milder than they were when I moved here 35 years ago). A nice, fresh snow is beautiful as long as I don't have to go out in it - I do like the stillness and it looks lovely before it gets all gray and yucky - but besides that, ugh. I'm not a fan of extreme weather on either end. I think I'd be perfectly happy living in the Pacific Northwest.

B: not hungry at all, so I'll have a thing of Greek yogurt or a protein shake in awhile. Coffee with half & half (already had)

MS: whatever I don't have for breakfast, I'll have as a snack - and then probably a later lunch since I haven't had breakfast yet (and probably won't 'til around 10:00)

L: matzo ball soup. I made a chicken sandwich last night and was originally going to have the second half of it at lunch along with my soup, but I seem to have developed an aversion to cold chicken, so I'll give it to DH. So not sure what I'll have with my soup. Maybe just the soup, since it does have chicken in it...

AS: protein muffin, maybe a thing of L&F yogurt, too

D: not sure yet

ex: resistance bands, some kind of cardio (probably a youtube dance/walking video)

have a great day, everyone!

QOTD- I hate winter! I had my Scarlett O'Hara moment on New Years Eve in the late 1970's it was so cold out and the radiator to my car froze. I remember being so cold, and at that moment I swore that with God as my witness I never want to be cold again!

I had a pretty horrible day yesterday, my pouch and most of my body was not happy. So I took it easy and finished watching Wanda Vision, I hate to say it but it took me most of the way through it to figure out what was going on.

I'm wondering if it would be worth it to do another Instacart order, or if I should just go to the store. I always end up buying more than I should to get the free delivery at $35 and if I go to the store I usually don't buy some of the crap I do online. I'm just paranoid about covid and really don't want to expose myself any more than I need to. At 2 years into this you'd think it wouldn't bother me so much, but it feels like a 100lb weight on my chest and makes me think, probably over think how much I want to expose myself. I really shouldn't worry since I'm vaxxed and boosted, but I do. I think I feel vulnerable since I'm alone here, there is no one I can ask for help if I really needed it.

I need to get to work. Have a great day everyone!

LOVED Wanda Vision! I wouldn't have understood it if I didn't have my son to interpret and connect all the dots for me. I can'****ch any Marvel stuff or Star War's without him!

Get a N95 mask and go to the store. I am snowed in with about 20 inches and would love to go to a store. I have N95 masks ordered, but will not have them for another week.

Today is the first day of the semester. I just got finished reading the microeconomics syllabus and am not excited for that. I'll do it though, begrudgingly.

QOTD: I enjoy the first snow of the year. Everything else is crap. With my mobility issues, I fear falling on ice and trudging through snow with my cane.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut, Tangerine.

L: Chicken Salad.

D: Leftover Moo shu chicken.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

Good morning ~ Quite right - I mean why else would there be a fork? I had a lovely, lazy and yet productive weekend. Got all the things done. Today I am having lunch with my sister and catching up. In the meantime - I need to get to work!!! A lot of covid personnel work today including witnessing staff administer their own rapid test to RTW today. Lovely,

QOTD - Living in CA we have dry summers, so I love the 'winter' rains. But it gets old when I don't see the sun for days/weeks due to rain, clouds, or coastal overcast. I don't mind the cold, I just need sun.

Accountability - skipped lunch, added a halo top strawberry bar that my intestines regret.

B- coffee, eggbeaters w/veggies

l- Thai - either curry or larb

d- meatballs with marinara, parm and ricotta

vi****er - great

exercise - woke up achy with a sore foot today so I did a really nice stretch and yoga pose work out. It felt great.

Forgot to weigh in!

Have a great day!

Happy Taco Tuesday All,

No tacos for me either but then I don't subscribe to only eating tacos on Tuesdays. Tacos are good everyday of the week! I am back at work today so spent the morning catching up on the unexpected long weekend. Still feeling great after surgery. Tonight I am going to play Pinocchle with the group I met through Meetup. I will try to get home early enough to get a 30 minute walk on the treadmill tonight.

QOTD: I like skiing, wearing warm clothes like sweaters and sweatshirts (but hate wearing a coat everywhere). The fireplace with a roaring fire. I appreciate the beautiful scenery until it gets slushy yucky and ugly out. Here in the east side of Washington the winter can be gray so I do miss the sunshine in the winter.

B: triple zero greek yogurt with collagen, cold brew with caramel drizzle, half n half

L: 3 oz chicken breast, lettuce, ff french dressing

D: Chicken and veggies

S: Chocolate PP

S: 100 cal kettlecorn bag, 1 square TJ chocolate truffle bar

E: maybe 30 min walking
