I was checking out the hotel for the OH conference last night, but didn't pull the trigger. I have a conference in Sept and Oct, but I'm not positive of the dates. Will find out tomorrow to make sure it works.

Liquids all day long. I have my water in the fridge, I have my herbal tea out, I have a pork tenderloin that I need to fix so I hope I will stay out of it when it's done tonight.
I've also taken my depression and anxiety meds but I've lost my B12 pills...sigh..so I guess I have to go on the hunt for them soon.

I know, I think it is psychological. It is all you can think of when you are not suppose to eat.

Just starting to post to this. I'm almost 1 year out and weight loss is now very slow. I thought this would be a good time to add some accountability in, lol.
B. 2 oz cod and 1 oz salmon loaf.

Sn. 1 protein shake
S. 3 oz pork w 3 TBL Green salad, 1.5 tsp salad dressing and 4 mandarin orange segments

At one year out, you will do better to stop taking protein shakes and have solid protein instead. Protein shakes are great when you can't eat enough to get in your protein requirements, but once you are able to eat, protein shakes can slow down the weight loss. I know that the people who sell them try to tell us that they help with weight loss, but they are just an easy way for the body to absorb more calories. I did much better with my weight loss and maintenance after I quit drinking them.

Recovery from the internal hernia has gone smoothly so far. At this point I am completely off pain medications, but even before that I only took tylenol 3 times. Still have a lifting restriction, so I am off the resistance bands and yoga until this coming weekend. But I have restarted my walking at a slower pace and shorter hills. I will plan to increase rapidly after this weekend. I have noticed that my pouch seems smaller again. Probably some swelling on the inside. Thank you for the wishes to get well.
QOTD: I would love to be more socially at ease. I tend to be shy and sometimes have a hard time starting up conversations. I am getting better but not where I want to be.
