Good mornin everyone. Hoping all of y'all in the path of these winter storms are staying safe and WARM.

Not much planned for the day. I've not slept much at all so I'll likely have a few rest periods of laying down. I may do a little light cleaning but it'll depend on how I feel later. Pain is already at a high level.

QOTD: What's Something You Want to Learn or Wish You Were Better At?

L: PP shake with frozen strawberries and banana

D: almond flour tortilla, 1 oz hamburger meat, cheese, taco sauce, onion and maybe some mango salsa

Happy MLK Day all!

Hope some of you get the day off. I get the first day of the semester off. School starts tomorrow and I still don't have a schedule for one of my classes.

My plan today is to reframe my thinking back into school mode. I'm heading over to a friend's place tonight and she wants sandwiches. I have told her a few times that I can't do bread so I'll figure something out.

QOTD: I wish I was better at anticipating people's needs.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut, Tangerine.

L: leftover Moo Shu chicken.

D: ?

When I get Subway for friends, I have them put the sandwich insides on a bowl of salad for me.

I sometimes bring a low carb wrap with me and put the inners in there. You'll figure it out I'm sure.

I have zero room to waste on bread or "food carrier devices". I open up the sandwich and roll up the innards and eat them that way!

I agree on not wasting room on food carrier products but it still nice to have here and there.

I ended up having a Chicago style got dog dragged through the garden. I minimized the amount of bun and probably only consumed 1/2 bun. Win.

Mornin' All!

I should probably get out today because the weather is supposed to be cooperative. It's going to get bitterly cold by the end of the week, so... No plans on where to go, but I don't really want to sit around the house all day. Maybe I can go to the gym this morning when it's not crowded (and MWF are vaccine-required days there to boot - and masks are ALWAYS required, unless you're in the pool). I've been avoiding the gym the last couple of weeks regardless, but maybe it'll be fine if I stay in areas where there are only a couple of people so I can stay far away from them. I need to do SOMETHING. Other than that, more reading (as usual). And maybe coming up with some more concrete food/eating plans for the week. Too much snacking and winging meals the last couple of days. Feeling it.

Last night I made matzo balls for the first time, and also made chicken stock. So today I'll be putting together matzo ball soup. Looking forward to it!!!

QOTD: well, my first thought was learning Italian, but then that's been on my to-do list for over a year, and I haven't been very successful at sticking to it. I'll do it for a few days and then stop - and then it'll be a couple of months before I pick it up again. Other than that, I wish I was better at keeping my house clean (and sticking to eating plans!!)

B: I have cheesecake-flavored yogurt pie on my MFP menu, but I may just have some Greek yogurt or a protein shake, Not very hungry this morning.

MS: whatever I don't have for breakfast (protein shake or Greek yogurt), I'll have for a snack

L: 1/2 a chicken sandwich on Keto bread, either a cup of matzo ball soup or cole slaw made with Asian-style dressing

AS: protein muffin

D: matzo ball soup

ex: some kind of cardio

have a great day, everyone!
