Good morning all!

QJB- the hands are so cute and your crafting partner looks reputable.

My plans got cancelled tonight so I'll just take it easy. Tomorrow, I'll go visit my mom with my sister. Other plans for the weekend include watching football playoffs. It's the last weekend before classes start back up. I'm still waiting on the schedule for one of my classes. My advisor is not responding, which is frustrating. I don't want them to cancel the class for low attendance and leave me in a quandary.

QOTD: I can't tell how clothes will fit. I have a lower belly that hangs so it's hard to approximate if the shirts will cover appropriately.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut, Tangerine.

L: Chicken Salad.

D: TBD.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 208 lbs 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

When supply chain issue**** the shelves, I temporarily changed to strawberry cheesecake, which is a decent substitute. I also tried blueberry, which I found watery and not very pleasant. I keep an eye out for apple pie and creme brulee but haven't seen those on shelves here. I am a creature of habit though and when I find something I like, I tend to keep to it.

Mernin' errybody!

Happy FFF! This was a long week!

QOTD - I cannot hold things up and think yes or no they will fit me. I have body dysmorphia, and I still think I need a L/XL. I definitely buy things way too big. Even after all these years, my brain has not caught up. So I definitely have to try on clothes.

Breakfast - Coffee

Lunch - last of my chickpea salad, banana, crackers and pepitas

Snack - tofu scramble

Dinner - NO clue, but we have the kids so I will think of something

I hope you all have a great weekend!

Christina

Let it begin with me.

Good morning, everybody!

As of now, I am in for the conference in the fall. I purchased a ticket for the 2020 conference which was cancelled, as was 2021. I haven't booked anything yet, but I will look into it more next week. Of course, I will take any menu regulars to dinner on Thursday night. And when I say "take"I mean "pay" not "drive". We will need a designated driver not named Jim, Lisa, Amy or Chrissy. Or an UBER.

If we have a group going, hopefully we can track down Stacy.

The low carb bagels came. They have kind of a chewy, pumpernickel feel and taste to them. I had one lightly toasted with cream cheese. I'm not jumping up and down about them, but I had a bagel yesterday and blood sugar this morning was 94. I'm calling that a win.

I think that they would be better toasted crispier and I'm going to try one this morning with salmon, tomato and cream cheese.

Weekend plans are Crossfit, work and Happy Hour today and then tomorrow we head to Boston for a wedding. After talking to my Mom, she wants us to visit, so we will see her on Saturday afternoon. I am worried about exposing her to COVID after the flight, but she wants us to visit and she is fully vaccinated.

On to the food porn:

For starters we split fried green tomatoes with shrimp on top and then an oysters three ways dish that was deviled oysters, fried oysters, and a Newburg with oysters in it. Also, the ****tails (called Grateful Dead - how could I resist), Marilyn's grits, eggs, bacon and biscuits, DD's crab omelet, and my Andouille sausage and egg casserole.

QOTD: In a word, no.

Breakfast: aforementioned salmon/bagel concoction

Lunch: Chicken

Dinner: Happy Hour

Have a great day all of you! And think about the convention.

it's in California most years - but that makes sense since obesityhelp is located there. I think it's only been in another state maybe twice since I got in this site seven or eight years ago.
